[quote="kgdjpubs"] "what makes you think that even if they DID try that anything would be mentioned to the fans unless Perry decided to say yes??? Backdoor conversations go on all the time when trying to reunite groups, but it doesn't bode well to make the info public when you are trying to succeed without said person. They would only be suiciding themselves if they announce publicly that they are trying to get Perry back while trying to go forward with new lineup. #1 Rule of business...do not EVER announce anything unless it is set in stone and
contracts are signed, otherwise problems ensue if it falls apart at the last minute."
Did you see that they ALL JUST SAID in their last interviews that they don't talk, except through lawyers? How many times does Neal have to say he doesn't have Perry's number and doesn't know why he can't ever just call him up. Oh, right, it is an agreement or maybe a conspiracy by all THREE of them to say asking him to come back was never discussed.

Until they decided this year to "embrace their legacy" with yet another voice selected to mirror Perry, Cain & Schon threw out jabs at Perry at every turn. I guess they were secretly courting him and slamming him at the same time? Ok.
I don't believe for a minute that Perry wouldn't say so, if they had approached him and he said NO. He'd probably be happy to say he told them to "F" off. Cain just said in his last interview that Perry told him in '96 that he and Cain were DONE, so he wouldn't make that call to him.
