As serious as a Heart Attack. I think having DSB listed as one of the tracks helped sales significantly. People are suckers for Greatest hits packs, especially Journey fans. Look at the Essential Journey discs, those went platinum only three years before, and The Journey Greatest Hits DVD going 4X platinum only two years ago also. Journey fans gobble that shit up. Slap DSB on any disc and it will sell, case closed. Sony would probably put that in the contract for Perry if he were to try and release another disc through them. Either include a redone version of DSB or get out of town.
Better for Perry to stay retired then to rehash that song again. Sony would have it on the radio for sure, just causing further confusion about who the singer for Journey is.
