He might as well be.
His blog was discussed on several radio shows across the country.
"regular" people are on the radio everyday. Think about it. They call in, get asked in (as in this case). Because he or anyone that is deemed "regular" people get that, doesn't equate them with the press. Forgive me...but for me that is simply a weak argument.
Yep...Don't remember what station he was on in Iowa, but it was on in the middle of nowhere...I can't even pick it up here. I did a quick search to see if I could find it again, found this instead, from a blog on the Des Moines Register, kinda funny:
The Chicago Tribune reports that the Chicago White Sox have selected rock band Journey’s 1981 hit “Don’t Stop Believin’ ” as the team’s theme song for its World Series bid.
Do they care that the tune mentions Detroit, not Chi-town?
And the team reportedly also has invited former Journey frontman Steve Perry to Game 1. What about the rest of the band, who now tours with replacement singer Steve Augeri?
Most importantly, can anybody out there recommend a better theme song for the team?
Had the Cubs been World Series bound (sob, sob), perhaps they would have picked a Jimmy Buffett tune, considering he performed this year at Wrigley Field.
Journey?
I’m not saying I want John Fogerty’s “Centerfield,” something way too cliche in the world of sports.
But Journey?
It could be worse, I guess. Could be a Styx song.
