If that is in fact the case I definitely would NOT be broadcasting it to this crowd.

I would get myself a wetnap, clean myself up and overall KEEP MY FUCKIN MOUTH SHUT ABOUT IT!

1) Overall song structure
2) Best flowing CD
3) Biggest impact
4) Best songs overall

Evolution
Departure
Infinity
Escape
Frontiers
Arrival
and dead last, TBF, the only Journey CD I bought that actually pissed me off the first time I listened to it.

I know so many people like it best, but for me it was a weak album.
Chain Reaction and After The Fall are cheesy - even aside from the videos.
Back Talk and Troubled Child should have been thrown away never to be heard.
Send Her My Loveis an alright song.
Faithfully is okay, but still not in the same category as Good Morning Girl, Stay Awhile, Opened The Door, and Patiently.
Frontiers and Rubicon - again, get on my nerves. Nothing apealing to me at all about these songs.
Edge Of The Blade - Soto made me like the song better than Perry ever did.
Seperate Ways - Once I got the live version video in my head and displaced the worst video ever made, the song got better.
I am not trying to debate with anyone, just sharing my thoughts on the albm.
Had the song lineup been the following, it would probably jump up above Evolution based on the better flow of music:
Seperate Ways
Send Her My Love
Only The Young
Edge Of The Blade
Chain Reaction
Rubicon
Frontiers
After The Fall
Faithfully
Ask The Lonely

Can you read? The thread starter, Deano, clearly asked for the 7 PERRY fronted albums to be ranked. Your vote does not count because A) You're a stupid fucker and can't read, or B) You made an honest mistake. Either way, your vote is nullified.

Matthew,
I agree about FRONTIERS and ESCAPE (my thoughts on ROR are well documented !)
However, I'm curious- why no love for EVOLUTION? It's my favorite of all (though just by a hair)...

Matthew wrote:Oh...I feel the love alright X factor...but just not quite as much as the others....just by a hair! In fact, Rolie's vocals are the weak link on all the first three albums...for me, anyway.

Darwin Award Nominee.
You officially are a fag. Please tell me you don't prefer Garfriga's chords over Gregs?

Garfriga's voice isn't up to much either. I never understood why the Journey keyboard players were allowed anywhere near a microphone.

It's called a duet...and in this case, you wanted something different. You had Perry and then you needed someone who could sing with him.. What you suggest, Ross? LOL..Neal, not quite. Smith is as loud as a bull mouse. Greg has a strong voice. Garfriga doesn't. You don't want me to publicly talk about the secrets of Garfrigas pipes do you? No, you don't.

saint John wrote:The contrast between Perry and Rolie was magical. Feeling That Way, Anytime, Just The Same Way to name a few. Great stuff.
Matthew wrote: Just Perry on lead vocals and layered Perry over-dubs for harmonies. Everyone else can concentrate on what they're good at.
