It really should be called the "Music Hall of Fame" considering the number of artist who have been inducted who are not actually rockers. Even so, no Chicago? No Journey? I CALL SHINANNIGANS!!![]()

The crap that has been accepted in over the last few years has killed the credibility of the original concept.

Are you hinting at a bit of payola, Andrew?

I may be wrong, but I believe the inductees have to pay a huge fee - something like $40,000. Run DMC is being inducted this year, so between that and Madonna, the RRHoF has
zero credibility. Someone needs to start a new Rock Music Hall of Fame with a voting committee of people who are qualified to vote, because Jan Weiner has no business dictating
who is worthy based on his personal tastes.

But Journey definitely belong in.. and it's a mystery why they're not.

As much as I love Boston, they are a borderline band, if even that.

No way... they ushered in a sound. No one had heard productions/recordings/songs like that before 1976 when the debut came soaring in. They definitely deserve to be in there. Remember, we're talking about somewhere that has the likes of fuckin Public Enemy among its inductees.
