Halftime Bruce..

Postby Behshad » Mon Feb 02, 2009 11:20 am

Is it just me or does Springsteen look more and more like Neal the older he gets ?!
I have to agree with Dean that Bruce is great on stage. I just wish his songs weren't so boring.

Bruce and Neal could have a side project and write some good tunes together. They could call their band Twins.

It was OK, not the 'best ever' for me (Prince in 2007 still holds that honor).

I was gonna say the same thing. It was good but I liked Prince better.

I thought Bruce looked great. It looks like he hasn't aged hardly at all.

It was a pretty good 12 minute concert.

My one gripe> I didn't like rolling out the choir on Working On A Dream. A choir at the inaug party was aproppriate but I wanted to see the band rockin', not go to church.

He redeemed himself by not ending it there in a kumbaya moment.

10th Ave Freezeout was great
Born To Run was pretty good
WOAD - meh
Glory Days was fun

As for Bruce and Neal sharing clothes and grooming tips? Spot on.

Check out this clip. Tell me that's not Bruce fronting Journey.

He looks good for his age. But saying he hasn't age means you need to either get your eyes checked or as dave said get rid of that b/w TV ,,,, unless Kelli is comparing Bruce to his evil twin Neal ;)

I loved their energy on stage. We were saying... look at him smiling! He was having a blast. And yeah... Neal is looking a lot like Bruce, or visa versa.

Too funny, I thought the exact same thing about him looking like Neal. Saying that, I thought he looked great. He still doesn't do it for me vocally, but he definitely is one hell of an entertainer......well, except for that crotch slide right into the camera. I really liked his song choices too!
