He's dead. The police said the lady will not be charged as that state allows forceful self defense in that situation when you are in your own home.YoungJRNY wrote:Disturbing. Those noises without being able to see anything hits home and could happen to anyone. That's a tough woman, but got to do what you got to do.
Any word if the man died?

I'm with you on the ACLU. They're almost as bad as the NRA.

Burglar?
He smashed his way into her house and was likely gonna try and kill her.
That's a maniac home invader, not a burglar.

Easy there Joan. I don't think the guy was trying to rob her. I seriously think he was high and drunk and really confused and maybe think he was frustrated and thought it was his own house. His sister was with him and passed out in the car. This story hasn't played out yet. Either way I hope the lady is exonerated of any charges, and she did feel bad about killing him, but I would stop short of saying with any certainty the guy was a 100% robber/rapist in this case.

Dude, come on.
He was gonna try and get his hands on the woman. Being a stoned, drunk junkie is not an excuse not to shoot the rampaging lunatic. He was making his way around the house to find a point of entry.
He smashed his way into the goddamn house.
Check out the Manson lamps he is rocking in that mugshot too.
