I can't even believe that Dallas is the favorite in this game, but they are by 3. Go figure!

I'm a Cowboys fan and can't believe it.

I'm praying for a win though.

You forgot to mention that big pussy Tomlinson is on the shelf again! This guy needs to retire and stop embarrassing himself. Give Sproles the ball and be done with it. The Chargers are a FAR better team when Tomlinson is on the sidelines pouting like the little bitch he is and Sproles is in the backfield!

Other than the 2003 season, I can't really remember L.T even playing a whole half of football, let alone a game. He's always fartin' on the sidelines coming across as a sissy holding back his tears. Still he's my comeback player of the year, if he ever see's the green again. :x

I am so glad the Browns traded down to take Alex Mack so he can make bad snaps to dink-dunk Brady Quinn in the opponent's red zone instead of drafting Mark Sanchez

Uncharacteristic like for Jeff Reed missing 2 straight field goals and leaving 6 on the field. That was a slop fest all over the place. The Bears played well enough to stay in the game and bite us where it hurts the most, taken advantage of many missed opportunities. They weren't the better team, but got the W and that's all that matters. Trap it was. Good game all around by both teams.

Made it interesting? What are you talking about, Pittsburgh was up the whole game until Cutler tied it up in the 3rd. The Steelers missed many crucial plays, including 2 field goals, and a touchdown that went through Santonio's arms. It wasn't until the Steelers missed two FG's to give The Bears a shot to take the victory. Chicago by no means was the better team, but like I said, made the field goal that we couldn't. Nice win for Cutler and the Bears, they needed it. If anything I expected a trap game. It's good to get this loss in, get it out the way, put it behind us and game plan forward now. It was bound to happen.

Not really, Chicago took advantage of every scoring opportunity they came across. If anything it was Pittsburgh who left many points on the field and should of scored more than 14 points, Pitt could have put 30 easy ones up there. They moved the ball fairly well and knocked on the door many times. I'm giving The Bears more credit than they showed. THAT'S WHY THEY PLAY THE GAME. 8)

You're not a little concerned with their play so far? Looked very lackluster vs a not-that-good Titans team as well. You guys aren't exactly the king of fast starts in recent history, but still...

Not concerned whatsoever. I thought they showed some good things today and put together some impressive drives. Both teams have to play in the conditions their dealt with, and with that heavy downpour throughout the game that slows a defense down for both teams, and it showed. Guys were falling everywhere. These two teams are slug it out clubs, and it came down to the final kick. So be it, but I'm not concerned, esp since we were one or two small mistakes away from blowing the game up.

And Tennessee, even with the loss to Houston, is NOT a "not-that-good Titans team".. they are a helluva club who gets down right nasty and plays the Steelers kind of ball. They will be there at the end of the year givin their style that beats down teams. Overall Pittsburgh looked better than last week and showed a solid game plan and did some good things that I'm pleased with. They just missed out on situational football, period. It's a loss to grow on.

Bless you Cutler & Knox ! The weeping on the Pitts sideline was a Wah Wah sight I will not forget. Go Bengals! Next week you will have a bunch of highly disturbed hornets to contend with.

The next two weeks for Pittsburgh are by no means cake walks. Like I said, Cinci will be a better squad this year and S.D, even though they aren't showing the Super Bowl contender potential that people expect, they can sling it all day and light up the scoreboard. We have our work cut out for us, but one game is one game. I'm content with this loss, esp since we deserved to win and should of!

Young JRNY- My daughter recently moved back to Cincy after 13 yrs in Chicago. I told her,now you have seen Ben Rothlisberger. If Troy played who knows how it would have been. I hope & pray he needs another week off . See you next week. I will be the one peeking through my fingers the entire game. I hope Chad tones it down for next week, but I don't think it is in his nature.

Tennessee wasn't that good last season, in spite of their record. I predicted they would get eliminated immediately from the playoffs, and they did just that. Their team this year is less good with the departure of Albert Haynesworth. Chris Johnson is a SUPERB player, but after that...there are a whole lot of mediocre guys on that team!

They were today, and the scoreboard said so! I still think the Steelers will have a significantly better record when the end of the season rolls around, but at this point, the AFC is WIDE OPEN! Pittsburgh isn't a dominant team. The Patriots have MAJOR issues. The Chargers continue to show they simply can't win games they should win and that Tomlinson is the biggest pussy in the NFL. I think that if Sanchez can play well, the Jets need to be taken seriously. That defense hasn't given up a single touchdown this season, and their offensive line is VERY good. This is going to be a very interesting season.

Call a doctor, I cannot believe I am going to say this, but...I agree with you 100%!

The Steelers should have manhandled the Bears, instead the lost. By being too aggresive on D. Cutler killed them with the quick pass during blitzes and the Steelers O couldn't, as usual, convert in short yardage situations.

Good that the Steelers lost, perhaps it will wake them up a bit.

I like the Jets, Sanchez is playing like a seasoned pro not a rookie.

And do over look Baltimore, Flacco is riding high too.

This is why I love football, you just NEVER know week to week what is going to happen!

Nope, Browns will take it all...

And by all, I mean, they might score one offensive touchdown before the year's over. I wasn't expecting a contender this year but damn, I wanted a team that I could at least enjoy watching and perhaps still be in suspense about the outcome of the game by the start of the 4th quarter!

I was willing to give Mangini a chance, much more so than a lotta people in this town, but I can see now that he is simply not a very good coach who hides behind the facade of being a hardass about the dumbest things. It's nothing more than an act... I'm sure you've all heard about what's being dubbed Water Bottlegate (fining an unnamed player $1700~ for failing to pay a $3 charge on a bottle of water taken from mini bar in hotel room... not only patently ridiculous but against the collective bargaining agreement). Yeah, that'll REALLY get these guys to play their hearts out for you and make free agents want to come here .

Don't get me wrong, we needed some discipline after the Crennel regime, and Vince Lombardi himself could not make a contender out of the pool of "talent" Mangini was left to work with, but this isn't the kind of stuff that makes a coach great. Getting rid of him will probably be the best thing the Jets have done! If Sanchez continues to show this kind of poise, I could definitely see the Jets getting far. I haven't seen enough of the Ravens yet.

The Raiders won with their "great" QB going 7/24 for 109 yards!!! And 4 of those were on the final drive.

That's not as far fetched as it may seem. Do I think it will happen? Nope...But I would not be in a state of shock if it did.

Mark Sanchez after 2 games doesn't really look like rookie and I think Joe Flacco has something. 2 teams that may fly under the radar and wind up with 2 very good seasons.

I agree. Nothing will be decided in Week 2. Look at how the Jets started last year and they tumbled late season after a 8-3 start. The NFL is wide open every year and that's what makes it the greatest sport to ever be played. I agree, again.. that this was a good loss for the Steelers. It was bound to happen and now that we got it out of the way we could build from here, by no means that this game defines us. We were in major position to win and showed great things offensively. The next two weeks are crucial since we have a division opponent, and a conference opponent to take care of. Wide open it is.

BTW: Jerry Jones makes me sick. He was more amused by the record crowd and giving a standing ovation rather than the play of his own team. Camera pans on him while he's pickin his nose and everything. I've never seen someone so obnoxious and in need of the spotlight other than Paris Hilton.

I think both teams will have good seasons, but Baltimore isn't close to being "under the radar"! They've had one of the best defenses in the NFL for many years and everyone knows who they are and what they're about, so they're not sneaking up on anyone. Let's not forget that these same Ravens actually won a Super Bowl with Trent Dilfer. Now they actually have a QB with the same solid defense. I wouldn't be stunned to see them win their own division if Flacco keeps playing well. After yesterday, I'm not sure the Jets are going to sneak up on anyone either. It's a VERY long season, so who knows what's going to happen. I do think that the Jets and Ravens both have very good football teams and in my opinion, they're both teams who could get into the playoffs. I think that only Baltimore will be a force to be reckoned with, if they get into the playoffs.
