No kidding. I need to be wrangled. I can't be left on my own - I'll lose that ticket 5 minutes after I present it to get it.

If we can't come and go without it, then I think you and I might as well just stop in Friday, have a drink with everyone, and go right to the boat. Stanley Cup Round 2 should be kicking off this weekend... so that will occupy us when we are refused entry due to lost tickets and lack of a shepherd to keep us squared away.

Chances are those who are over 21 will get the bracelets though ;)

Im guessing if they have to check in, they are the ones who will have the bracelets. Or a special colored one. Maybe we all do so we can come and go. That would make sense. Unless we have to be responsible for the same ticket all weekend  I'd lose mine and be done VIP night  There must be some other way they keep track of us.

If they give those who are underage bracelets, then they can easily take them off. Most places give those who CAN have alcohol the bracelets :)

Um, Ive seen it done both ways, and what's to stop an over 21 from slipping their bracelet off and letting an underage wear it? There are no fool proof ways. Ive seen it where there are different color bracelets for both.

Actually most places Ive seen, when they put the bracelet on you, you can not take it off unless you break it,,, plus with your logic, if anyone can just slip those off, then it defeats the whole purpose of having them :P

Actually most places Ive seen, when they put the bracelet on you, you can not take it off unless you break it,,, plus with your logic, if anyone can just slip those off, then it defeats the whole purpose of having them :P

Yeah but if you aren't going to be served unless you have it, why would you take it off?
They aren't going to bracelet the underagers for that exact reason, they will take them off.
And yes, you can take it off with no problem. breaking those is easy, and it's not going to deter a determined 18 year old.

I think youre confused..... Youre agreeing to my points, yet youre trying to argue with my points :P

My point is, they put them on those who CAN be served, simply cause if they put them those who CANT be served, they will simply take them off and get their drink anyways.

Lynn said if they only give the bracelets to those who are of age , then they can take them off and give them to underage.... but if you break them off, then no underage can use them

Yes, that was his argument so you should have quoted me  I have been to places that bracelet both though, with different colors. That way they know which they can serve based on the color they are wearing. But then Andrew has different people with different kinds of tickets too, so I wonder how they will keep track. Guess we'll find out. Tickets only would not be good, because then you could give your friend your ticket and they wouldn't have to buy one. There is too easy of a way to cheat your way in with the same ticket being used each entry.

In wisconsin it's legal for minors to have alchohol in bars as long as the parents say it's ok and the bartender agrees to serve them. I know we've got crazy laws here.

I didn't change anything. When you said they won't, I said yes they could slip it off, and the way I have seen it both wear bracelets different colors. :P I said more than once both with different colors, but we'll see.
