It always ends with "I'll email it tonight, and it'll be in your inbox when you get up". Days, and then weeks will go by... NOTHING.This has been going on for the last couple of years, but has gotten much worse over the last 6 months. I'm officially done. I can't keep waiting on tracks that never come, and I feel very emotionally connected with these songs so it really bothers me.
I don't have any ill will towards Alex, because I think he's a great guy (and extremely talented). He just doesn't have the time or capability to focus on this project and see it thru to the end. It's really sad too, because I think we had some great songs in there. I guess at this point, I'm going to try to find some other musicians who want to give it a whirl and see if anything comes from it. Nothing like starting over from scratch.

The only problem we'd get Jim is backlash because I am a barritone and would not preserve the legacy Cold Heart sound.

I've heard you belt out Miles Away by Winger in front of a capacity restaurant/bar and it was fucking great!![]()

I actually get along with both of them fine.

I have stayed out of your threads,
but I have to poke my nose in here -
It's time you did find some musicians local to you.
You can't run a long distance band. That's just crazy.
So stop chasing that and post some Ads for local people of like mind.
Throw your energy into that.
There will be other musicians out there just as frustrated as you are.
So - do it.
Damn Susie! I wish you would have said something to me, because I sure wasn't referring to you when I said that! I was referring to the Britney Spears's of the world who get the gigs based on looks alone, and they sing the bubblegum crap that is written for them. In most of those cases, they don't even have good vocals! They just work studio magic and autotune the crap out of them until they hit the notes. That seriously bothers me that after all this time, you didn't shoot me a PM or something.![]()
I've always thought the world of you, and I also think you're a great singer. You know me... sometimes I go a little overboard on my posts, but I sincerely never intended that to be a slam on you. I hope you can forgive me.

aaah but that isn't what was said at the time.
However, I will move on and let it go.
Best of luck finding band members for your new venture.
I have no idea if AR can sing.
I do know he has a talent for posting pictures of dead animals.
I have a long memory.

LOL, thanks Dan but I'm far too busy entertaining prostitutes in my hotel rooms on the road and not finishing musical projects that will never see the light of day
