DAMN I'm tired of feeling like a yo-yo here. I know I've posted several things here about the "band", but this really is the end of the whole project. Alex is too busy, and he always has too many irons in the fire. Every time I send him something, he types back "Man, I just wrote the most amazing guitar track, or man I just laid down the best vocals I've ever done!". It always ends with "I'll email it tonight, and it'll be in your inbox when you get up". Days, and then weeks will go by... NOTHING. This has been going on for the last couple of years, but has gotten much worse over the last 6 months. I'm officially done. I can't keep waiting on tracks that never come, and I feel very emotionally connected with these songs so it really bothers me.

I don't have any ill will towards Alex, because I think he's a great guy (and extremely talented). He just doesn't have the time or capability to focus on this project and see it thru to the end. It's really sad too, because I think we had some great songs in there. I guess at this point, I'm going to try to find some other musicians who want to give it a whirl and see if anything comes from it. Nothing like starting over from scratch.

Think it was '89 or '90 my walls were covered top to bottom with KISS,Skid Row,Def Leppard,Motley,Guns,etc. all the top rock of the day and of course i'm bangin one of my first ever loves from behind and i notice all this chick can do is lovingly stare at a barechested Sebastian Bach poster i had hanging up and i even think at one point she kept saying ohhh Sebastian more Sebastian.I lasted all of a good 45 seconds before i was spent.Thems were the days before internet and viagra hit the market.Probably didn't help that i lovingly poured a lil jim beam in her coke while my sister ran to the blockbuster down the street and boy was my sis pissed off that i got my paws on another one of her lil friends after school

Well I did think that. I am a singer who does not compose her own songs. And I make my living by interpreting the compositions of other people.
And the discussion said that people who do that are not to be respected.
I fit the description.

But, I will let you off the hook. Because I now understand that you meant the Britney types who not only do not write the stuff they make their living singing but cannot actually sing either.



But if you ever call me Britney even in jest, I will slap your legs.
