I didn't mean you specifically when I said superiority.. I meant it in a general way because this same debate has happened here a LOT, and I have always said that it was unnecessary.
I would not demean a person's choice of music, movies, whaetver the topic was just becasue I wasn't knowledgable or interested in said topic... but maybe that's just me. I know a lot of people do that, and it's not right. I've certainly been talked down to enough in my life for not sharing this or that interested and it's just wrong. So I don't do it. I absolutely have no interest or knowledge about Nascar, for example, but 2 good friends of mine are into it - do they put me down for being lazy? No. Do I put them down for having an interest I don't have? No. It's the same principle.
