There is so much garbage on TV and this is a great show that is interesting and can save lives. A lot of the viewers watch online and I believe that really skews the ratings and numbers indicating how many watch. I admit that I'm also disappointed I won't get to watch Cade Courtley every week, but I looked forward to every episode and what I took from them.

But, the worst cancelation of the last year or two for me has been canceling The Unit, the military action-drama starring Dennis Haysbert and Robert Patrick. That was a GREAT fucking show with great production values. It had decent ratings, but apparently not enough to stay in business longer than the 20th CSI
It got canceled after 4 seasons... they didn't even really get to wrap up the characters' story lines, either, which was important because half of the show was focused on action and the other half was focused on the soldiers' personal lives/their wives/families. The show ended with lots of questions.

Could those 2 characters be any more different?!

Well, not cancelled - but no longer shows in Canada. Thanks goodness for the Internet - I can always find somewhere to watch online. I love that show!!!

I'm fretting because I'll miss Cade Courtley!I haven't seen Deadliest Warrior - when is it on?
Did you ever see Combat Missions? It was a Mark Burnett production in 2002, but they only produced one season and then the war started in Iraq - I recently watched it on YouTube and found it pretty interesting. My biggest surprise was the level of training by the police SWAT teams - they were just as good and often outperformed the former special forces members.

I actually watched it the first couple seasons, then it got really weird and creepy, lol, but I've caught a few this past season again. Not too hard to pick back up on, though there is obviously a bunch I missed not watching all of them all along.

I liked 'The Unit' too until the last season. It started getting a bit farfetched with the wives getting into the spygame, but I liked it before that. They could have gone back to the original formula. The least the network could have done is let them wrap up the storylines!

Never saw that, but I'm surprised when Spike cancels anything after only one season.

I agree, but the action and overall story was still excellent. I really miss that show.

1) LOST - this show sucked. Writers making shit up as it went along. Totally fan driven drivel.
2) 24 - another lame show. I couldn't get through 10 minutes of this show.
3) Any cop/forensic/criminalistic show - especially CSI: Detroit. Enough already. (I was gonna say CSI: Haiti, but would have been castrated)
4) Any and ALL award shows....The industry just loves to pat itself on it's back. CRAPtastic!

I don't like CSI much except an odd episode or two reels me in. I've seen little of Lost but it didn't reel me in.
But basically, from this list above, you must own a TV exclusively for sports![]()

Rick
Everyone in my family watched Jericho and it was an excellent show, but I think it hit too close to home for many. I know it scared the crap out of me because it was a very realistic scenario in terms of what could happen and few people live in a town like Jericho. At least now I own more survival gear and that reminds me that I have to resupply after I move!
They should make a film out of Jericho - I really think it could be a hit at the box office if they do it right.
