The new Alice Cooper CD is really good. I'm up listening to it at 3am. (off work today so it's not a problem)

This CD is all over the place and that's what I like about it. Dirty Diamonds was also a great release 2 CD's ago.

Alice and Cheap Trick are the 2 acts that have consistently been bringing it for years and keep my faith in music.

"Something To Remember Me By" might be the best ballad Alice has ever done and that is saying something!

This is really the best Alice Cooper release since the Last Temptation which was around 1995 I think . Dirty Diamonds was good , but this is really something else.

A lot of his old seventies sound in it. Certainly another top drawer relasese from this year.

I can tell this is one that needs to be listened to in it's entirety. I'll give it a couple complete spins, but so far I like most of what I hear.

Yeah, I would say that it is one meant to be played from start to finish. The ballad and opening track can be spun on their own though I think.

I'm loving this album....still.
It really takes me back.
I hear some Mellencamp, Beatles and, of course, some classic AC.
Also, the end instrumental song which pays tribute many of his legacy songs is really cool.
If you guys like Alice Cooper, you're gonna love this album. Sonically, it's excellent!
I give it a 98/100. :D
I deducted 2 for the sometimes obvious use of pro tools, but hey, the guy is still out there kicking ass, so who cares.....

And, finally, I'd like to thank you, Ed, for turning me on to this!

No problem. Listened to it again earlier today as well. Couldn't be happier with this release.

Maybe the album of the year though Night Ranger and Whitesnake and Mr Big make a pretty compelling case for this honor as well.

I was convinced this was going to be something like "my daughter is going to be old enough to date in 10 short years."
Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

They all play together on "I'll Bite Your Face Off" , which Neal Smith (and Bob Erzin) wrote with Alice. Not sure of any inputs on other songs. Of course they all played together live at the RR HOF .

I'm partial to ballads on 'Trash', and 'Hey Stoopid'...and you need to check out Kane Roberts's solo album.

'Only my Heart Talkin' off 'Trash', feat. Steve Tyler is probably my favorite.

Used to have this (the one co-written by Desmond Child in case there's more than one), and loved it! Somewhere I have a photo I took of Kane's Rambo M-60-looking guitar from some Hard Rock Cafe' - I think it was the one in Chicago.

I'll have to pick up this new Alice Cooper CD on the way home. Is it exclusive to any one store, or can I find it at Best Buy?
