To those of you know...
Was there a huge difference in Tall Stories and Tyketto? Mamos and Red13GrandpaJoe sent me a Tall Stories cd, and it is pretty solid..very Faith in the Heartlandish..minus the guitar of Schon.
I tried to thieve Tyketto on Limewire, but nothing found.
Can someone shed some light on this for me.
Thank you in advance.

But, then again, I haven't listened to Shine in a LONG time. This is from my limited memory (I am getting so old!);)

THANK YOU!!
I don't know WHAT was going on but I just could not get that!
Red13JoePa wrote:But Andrew just posted, I think in the noticeboard, that it's HIS understading that Perry's say so only covers the catologue with HIM singing, nothing the band does now. He'd get PAID if they did it, but couldn't put a stop to rerecording.
Red13JoePa wrote:And speaking of Starship, I got a cd of theirs from 2002 where the band as it is now rerecorded their greatest hits in the studio in 2002.
Wonder how they pulled that off but JRNY could never do such a thing.

DEANO, (look correct spelling)![]()
I got the original Tyketto album when it was first released and still think to this day that it is a classic melodic rock album. I bought the follow up with great expectations and felt somewhat let down by the quality, a couple of good tracks but by no means what I wanted.
I was quite pleased when they recruited Steve as I knew his vocal abilities having already got Tall Stories. BUT I was not impressed by Shine at all. I'd take Tall Stories any day.
I did however see Steve sing live with Tyketto and was very impressed. An amazing voice that was very versatile, doing the VAughn songs as well as his own, and he did put his own stamp on the early Tyketto stuff and it sounded great.
On the Shy topic. NIG have you got Access All Areas? Great CD.

Sure there is, at that point Perry held ALL the cards!

Which Journey member said in the BTM special, something like, "We had this beautiful red Ferarri, but we knew who held the keys." Wasn't it Jon?

That's what I liked about Unfinished Business...Storyline is a good ballad! Breakaway is a cool song, I just don't like the intro when Mills does the "Whooaaaa oooohhhhh"......the song, IMO, would be perfect if that was left out!
