Richmond- DC....2 hours
Quantico- DC......50 mins
Alexandria-DC..25 mins
Fredericksburg-DC..1hr 5 mins

to Baltimore, add 1hour.
to Philly, add 2hr, 5 mins

These are times by train..probably same as auto..

I can actually send you free tix..

Try again Rock'ndeano

Martinsville to Richmond - 3 hours approx
" " to Quantico - 5 hours (maybe longer)
"" to Alexandria - 5 hours 11 minutes
"" to Fredericksburg - 4 hours 33 minutes
" to Baltimore - 6 hours
" to Philadelphia - approx 8 hours

If they play in Richmond on the weekend - then I can do that. I have soon to be family I could stay with in Richmond. :P

thanks so much for the compliment. you must have been to the key west/frontiers show last year. we did another show this year with jackyl. sorry i didn't get to hang out at jim's pool with you!! actually when i finish a show i want nothing more than to be in a quiet place and decompress for a long time...i am sure we know the same people though! our next show in the roanoke area will be in march, we are going to rent out the roanoke civic center auditorium for our next local show...hope you can make it!

Jeremey,

Hey, my birthday is in March, so if I can make it to the concert I'm putting in a birthday request right now, LOL!!! Mother, Father!

I have no idea how you could have kept that wig on, but believe me, without the wig, it doesn't hurt the visual performance. You do look like Steve - have you ever wondered if there are people in the audition thinking it actually is the real Steve Perry?

I can understand wanting to chill out after a concert! Jim seems like a really nice guy, what is the other guitartist's name? I talked to him for quite a while...the dude's a trip, hahaha! I know my friend Heather tries to catch you guys as much as possible when you play in Roanoke. She lives in the 'noke area, so it's easier for her to drop by.

Where do you live in VA, Greggie?

What major city is close to you?

I read the times right out of the timetable.

I guess train is quite a bit faster than driving.

Deano,

I live in Southside Virginia...close to the North Carolina border. I live in Martinsville, Virginia. As far as major cities that I am close to....guess it depends on your definition of a major city... :D

I am about an hour away from Greensboro, North Carolina and about a couple hours away from the Raleigh - Durham area of North Carolina. As far as BIG cities - I guess what you call a major city that I would live closest to would be Richmond - and that city is about 3 hours away. However, Roanoke, VA..where Jeremey's band originates from, is maybe 45 minutes away from me. Roanoke does have alot of great bands that tour through the area. Just a few years ago, I got to see REO Speedwagon there. Last year, I got to see Boston in Danville, Virginia. Danville is around an hour away from my house (I actually live on the west end side of Martinsville.)

So, that is why I say if Journey could tour around the Roanoke area, or in Greensboro, Winston Salem, or maybe the Raliegh area, then I could have a better chance of seeing them. The last time I saw Journey was in '98 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
