Who cares.

That would be funny, but it's true. Dude, they would all be doing countdowns, and vying for Neals side, first row!! Ticketmaster sucks!

I think a DVD is priority, but not obscure anything, whether it be Departure, Escape, ROR or Gens....dude, the obscure shit is being done, let's move on.. I'm sorry, if you are a big hits machine, you need to play them. Elton John, Billy Joel, Fleetwood mac, Eagles, Stones, etc..they all play their hits..

Well, they could do the press release thing. But, they would have to go on radio, do interviews in the venue's area, do internet interviews. GET THE WORD OUT.

The point isn't just to sell Augeri era music....It is to fill up every seat in whatever venue they chose. It is to at least ATTEMPT to create a bit of a buzz for the DVD concert, and the tour in general.

Also, I didn't say "majority of obscure Augeri-era songs". I said a set of at least 1/3 Augeri era songs, including the new songs. So, I would say maybe 10 Augeri era songs at most, including any new songs.

I'm sure BT would be going wacko for the DVD etc. Hopefuly, they could AT LEAST get the area where the DVD was being filmed a bit excited. If not, then Journey may as well just give up on releasing any 'new' CD's or DVD's and ONLY tour. What's the point, if nobody cares?

Oh, and one other thing - Journey should accept the deal with Universal...for a NEW album, not Generations.

Look, I doubt very much that anything dramatic is going to happen with Journey in the next few years. I doubt they'll sign to a label. I doubt they'll push any new music for radio or any other public outlet. They'll continue to tour and MAYBE perform new songs....But, I really don't expect much more then that.

Well, that was the point of my Journey Manager post.. This band is too damned conservative; with regards to management. Sit back and play the safe tours.. Fuck that. If Journey is going to just tour, and not push the release of a new CD, not play the CD at their shows, not do interviews, not put out a live DVD, not do a fuckin thing but tour..why even have a band anymore.. I cannot see the bandmembers themselves thinking that way..No way. Neal and Jon are too smart. They have kids at home. If they are gong to miss them, at least do it while making something of the band. If this is true, the band just doing tours and halfassed promotion, then they are sacrificing time away from wife and kids for what??? More GH shows? I say Bullshit. If that is the way it is going to be, and it is true, Then I am leaving the camp... Then Journey will be a trivia act.

Now tell me the band doesn't need new management!? The Band is GOOD enough...They are wasting their efforts, their lives, and their time...Fire that bastard..PLEASE!!!

Perry rules, Augeri bites. FACT.

Caged tigers? A bit dramatic, even for you, isn't it?

The only thing Perry rules is that easy chair he is ensconced in. (where all good retirees go) Why attack Journey's 'new' lead singer? Perry made his own choice to stop singing! Or is that what you really have a problem with?
