Are you going to smash it up with a guitar, thats what rockstars do, right? ;)

I have been planning my holiday for november/december... roughly sorted out where to stay, and what to see, and I finally have something that is practical to do within three to four weeks. I hope the weather will be sunny and warm all holiday long, but I think warm weather is only sure at the place where we plan to stay the first couple of days. Oh well, however it's going to turn out, it certainly will beat the Dutch winter weather! :D

Unfortunately I don't know anymore which band it was, could be Deep Purple, who glued all the furniture to the hotel room ceiling. Anyway, they left the cleaners in total astonishment!

Try holding your breath and swallow a couple of times... :) Hiccups aren't a problem for me at the moment... my problem is the characters on my keyboard are disappearing... the a,s,n, and o keys have turned completely black!

Yeah I know, just teasing!

Hey Thomasha, you want another tv to smash? Ours broke down tonight, while we were watching Dazed and Confused. (The movie not the Led Zeppelin song; the song isn't evem in the movie, but what a great soundtrack still, Peter Frampton, Aerosmith, Kiss, Black Sabbath, not to mention what a great movie, it's like reliving my highschool years all over, even though that was 10 years later or so... It's about time I close these brackets now  )

Um, so, we replaced the tv with the spare one, which has a picture size the size of a postage stamp, but enabled us to finish the movie. I'll get back to my drink now, and try to figure out how the spare tv will play NTSC, so far we're only getting a black and white picture for the next movie we wanted to see. :?

...or maybe you can swing the tv this way. My bro's friend used to have busting sessions all the time (he fixes tvs and vcrs, so anything that wasn't repairable got destroyed.) He had several tools at his disposal: 1.) A transformer from a 70's vintage amplifier, which was great for breaking picture tubes. 2.) A 40 lb. sledge axe, which did wonders to old tv frames and flatened vcr's in no time. And 3.) A 400 lb. Microwave completely filled with cement. He had a hook 'n pulley system that he mounted the nuke on, and he would haul it up with his '59 Catillac Fleetwood. Just pull the hook, and tvs didn't stand a chance. :D

He doesn't do many repair jobs anymore, other than a few commercial accounts. But my bro has carried the torch for busting sessions, and we still occassionally bust picture tubes in the backyard. Good times, and a great stress reliever.

I'd almost say no kidding, since he seems to have made an art out of busting tvs!

I just watched the last part of Fernsehgarten on German tv... Ritchie Blackmore was supposed to perform there. Didn't see him though, and in hindsight I think I should be grateful for that. Last time he played his renaissance music at the poolside in sunglasses... The performances I watched this time were rather special again. Imagine people dancing in a conga-line while a band (moustaches, portable keyboard) playback their cover version of Baccara - I Can Boogie... And of course that song is stuck in my head now!!!

Ohhhhhh you´ve missed something  a friend(the friend who likes Candice  )of mine has seen it and it was very funny and good! Blackmore came up with a small pig under his arm ........ and the lady who presented the show said `don´t eat it` ......... and the music was more rock ...... you know they give a show overhere in Oktober.

Miracles do happen! The band finally had a full band practice yesterday! We went through a majority of the material without much problem. My bro talked about potential gigs, maybe even a remote possibility of opening up for Eden's Lie during their cd release party later this year...but there's no promises as of yet.

Sadly though, I found a flaw in one of the songs that I wrote. Come to find out, I accidentilly sequenced the song in such a way that it's impossible to play the keyboard part without a third hand. It's something I have to work out in my spare time.

We also had a difficult time reprogramming our drummer. He likes to do a lot of improvising when he's not fully familiar with a particular song.

I'm beginning to like our new singer alot more, now that she's got the songs down pact. She kind of has the feel of today's pop music, but unlike Avril Lavigne, we actually DO rock without pretending to rock.

Now all we need is to fix our Achellies' Heel: Finding a bassist, and a new sound card.

Oh dear, sounds like he did a lot of smiling on the stage... I'm still not used to him smiling so much!

Oh, on the latest DVD he played a particularly difficult part with little or no effort, so Bobbi yells 'asshole' to the tv as Blackmore finishes the piece. And as if Blackmore has heard him, he tilts his head up, looks into the camera and pulls a 'bet you can't do that' smile! The look on Bobbi's face at that moment was priceless!

I've found a small piece of the song they performed yesterday, at least there was some guitar on it, unlike the first song (Old Mill Inn) that was released... what a dreadful song that was.

I'm not sure... At the moment I'm already happy when there will be sunshine. I've had enough of the grey skies and rain.

Are you planning to go to the beach again with Choco this Saturday?
