OT: Journeytroll proposed to his girlfriend on Saturday!!!

Postby JourneyTroll » Tue Aug 09, 2005 4:18 am

Great news Journey Fans!!! :P

I proposed to my girlfriend on Saturday on a carriage ride in Boston. She said, "yes", and now she is my fiancee. :D

The carriage ride was so romantic for the two of us.

I already shared the news with Opening Act, and I want to share the news with fellow Journey posters on this board. :D

I wish you much happiness JT. I proposed to my fiancee back in January. We have exactly a year before we will be married.

Thank you Greggie, and thank you Heardonthestreet. I just proposed on Saturday night, so we have to discuss a lot of things such as the date, place, invitations, receptions, and so much more.

I feel great. The weather was so perfect for a carriage ride proposal. When we started on the carriage ride, there was still daylight. When the carriage ride was over, the sky was dark except for all of the stars.

Thank you, Eric! :D

I have known her for about one year, and I love her very much!!!

My fiancee grew up with classical music. Also, she never watched MTV during its heyday.

NEVER WATCHED MTV!!! that is a good thing. Music vids IMO have ruined music. Wish I never saw the vids i have seen, they have taken away what I have thought of the songs.-ERIC

Jesus Christ....Did you have Richard Simmons along passing out roses, and fuckin' Kenny G playing Joshua Tree on his sax?

Dude, whatever. I have been on the sidelines for a week, and this is disgusting to watch. I am officially unretired.

Time for a little housecleaning around here.

Housecleaning? Gee, everyone who posted wished JT the best or just didn't post at all. You come along and mock the guy for getting engaged? What a miserable existence you must have Deano.

How self indulgent to come on a music message board and ASK everyone to be happy for him, err, you. Go to Hell, and leave the housecleaning to me. You're next...

Hi Andrew,

Either you or I can delete this thread. I just wanted to share something positive in my life to the Journey posters here. I'm thrilled to be engaged for the first time in my life to a wonderful person.

Thank you for anyone that wished us the best. I didn't mean to anger you Rock 'n Deano.

Congratulations on your engagement. When you finally find the person you're meant to be with, it's bliss. I wish you the same happiness I have with my husband. Marriage is truly a blessing!

Meadowbrook's tonight my man! Ironically, I'm not going to the Boston show (which is a whole 20 minutes away) because tommorrow is daughter's first birthday and relatives are coming.
Heading down to Mohegan Sun on Sunday too, though, so I'll have my fill of the boys!!!!

First, the picture IS really me, but I'm flattered that you might think differently. (My husband told me that picture looks like Tonya Harding, so I hesitated to put up that one.) Second, why are you so negative,RockinDeano? You can't be that unhappy, can you?

Negative? Generally I am a really happy dude. It's just that I don't want all that "happy horshit" Neal talks about either. I want the truth in whats going on with the band, and truth be told, some people here are the negative ones..I turn negative because I am fighting them off...I am the first to say Journey is not perfect..far from it...but they have done a lot more right than wrong.

By the way, you do look hot, and I only see a hint of Tanya Harding..trust me, you don't want any part of that skank..she beat the shit out of a dude, yes a dude in a Oregon beer bar...fired a hubcap and struck him right in the chickletts..

If I ever get seriously injured, I'll make sure I get hurt in your town, and go to your hospital
