My main point was I don't see Adams being on par with Journey...but he would be a great opener.

I would love Journey to get a new song involved with a TV show, or movie. "Remember Me" would have solved all of Journey's problems if Sony had left it in the movie where it was supposed to be...and then did a video.
So now, a TV show or a new movie, with NEW music, would reach a TON of people. And, again, if handled right it could be HUGE for the band.
I would guess that the BA deal was a fan of his at ESPN.
