The next edition of Rock And Roll Fantasy Camp has been announced. Just like this year's version, the 2006 camp will be held in Los Angeles during the days leading into President's Weekend, which will be February 16th through the 20th. The camp, which teams aspiring rockers with real stars, will feature the Who's Roger Daltrey, all the members of Cheap Trick, former Allman Brothers Band singer-guitarist Dickey Betts, Journey guitarist Neal Schon, Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart, and former Jefferson Starship frontman Mickey Thomas. It all comes to a close with a "Battle Of The Bands" at the House Of Blues on Sunset Strip that will feature Daltrey, Betts, and Cheap Trick performing with the campers.

The counselors, who do most of the hands-on work with the campers, will include Grand Funk Railroad and former Kiss lead guitarist Bruce Kulick, Great White keyboardist Michael Lardie, current Foreigner and former Dokken bassist Jeff Pilson, and Bad Company drummer Simon Kirke, with Night Ranger and Damn Yankees singer-bassist Jack Blades acting as Camp Director.

Previous Rock And Roll Fantasy Camp sessions have sold out, so you should make your reservations early. Go to rockandrollfantayscamp.com for more information or call toll-free 1-888-ROC-BAND (1-888-762-2263).
Also like previous Rock And Roll Fantasy Camp sessions, this one ain't cheap -- the cost is $8,499 per person, and that does NOT include your hotel costs. What you DO get for that price is: 10-plus hours of daily jamming & instruction; 13 meals with campers and celebrity musicians; a DVD of camp highlights; a welcome bag; a travel to and from camp events; and the Battle Of The Bands at the House Of Blues.
A two-hour special on Rock And Roll Fantasy Camp will air on the TLC cable network on October 16th, 20th, and 22nd.
