Their main mission in life...and I do mean MAIN mission...is to make sure Perry knows they are standing up for him, and fighting his fight. If he doesn't come here himself, perhaps somebody watching the boards will let him know of their undying love. What they refuse to admit to themselves, because it would be too painful, is that Perry is embarrassed by all this foolish attention. That Perry doesn't want, and perhaps never wanted, to be a part of Journey.

Don't you think if Steve P. wanted to return and perform with Journey, he would've made appearance that night after appearing at the Hollywood Walk of Fame? He was invited, but declined. That door was open.
SuiteMadameBlue wrote:Anyway, why would anyone HAVE to stand up for Steve Perry? I don't see a ton of articles where any of his former band mates are bashing him.
Because Perry-onlies believe there should be no Journey without him, even though there was one before him. And they bash the current lineup, even though they haven't even seen them live or even have a CD.
That's because you are normal!
That's good NiG because I think you add nothing to this forum...NealIsGod wrote:jrnyman28 wrote:NealIsGod wrote:I respect you, and I think most people who post here do, but HOTS has insulted you before about being "too nice". I sense disrespect from her toward you. JMHO.
Thank you, but it does not matter to me if HOTS 'respects' me. I will never meet her in person and I do not call her a friend. However, if I did meet her in person, then I might care about respect.
True. I only care about what a handful in here think of me, and you are included, Dave.

NoMoreTails wrote:Funny they have a bigger problem with Journey continuing without Perry than Perry does. Not that he was thrilled but he did agreed to it.
Glad they didn't wait, Journey wasted too many years of their careers waiting for him.
