Did Craft have a relationship with the band, or was he just a regular poster?

Allen Craft or AlienC, as he was better known on BT, was unceremoniously fired.
One day posters asked him a question on BT and he responded with a brief and disconcerting "Allen doesn't work here anymore".

That's the last I've heard of him.

I'd like to know what that was all about, he was extremely pro-new Journey, of course would as an employee, he defended them endlessly and seemed sincere and close to the band.
Maybe he offended (maybe)still partner Perry?
I thought Allen was cool. Engineered Neal's Piranha Blues I think.

Now I don't want to create a conspiracy theory, however, preceeding Allen's firing, he had divulged on the forum that Perry indeed had a kid and it was girl (might've went on to reveal more than that).
Up until then, the issue of Perry's children was sort of an unknown and taboo subject.
Did that have anything to do with his firing?
Who knows?

And that girl grew up to have her own hit show, "Blossom".

Allen Craft was also posting a lot on the VH1 site. As TNC mentioned, there were times he divulged information probably not suitable for him to say. He is still involved with NEal, but to a lesser capacity. He now posts as BananasAtLarge or something like that. He also posts at the Cooler from time to time. But I have stopped visiting the Cooler because it is nothing but ONE BIG clique.

I was surprised by NoMoreTails' treatment from Deen's siter and mom(?). He was not disrespectful in the least. Simply observant. (And thank you for the kind words)

It is a shame that people close to the band have to be so careful about what they say. It seems they get caught up in it, say something that may be out of line, probably take a lot of heat for it (whether by the fans of the band/management) and then fade away. There are things I can enjoy at BT, but there are a LOT of problems as well...

OhSherrie can tell you some mean stories about Allen, but he was pretty supportive of Perry as well. Allen posted that Perry used HIS idea for the opening lines "I Can See It In Your Eyes" on TBF. Allen was very proud of that...

I thought that was a totally different Allen. Are you sure on this?

I believe that guy is Alan Rosen if I recall correctly.
And thanks for confirming that I wasn't out of line w/Deen's folks.

Different people. Allen Craft was a member of Journey's road crew. I know at least one of his duties was Jon's guitar tech.

BananaAlan is Alan Rosen, the General Manager of Banana's at Large, a music store in Marin County. He provides a lot of gear for the band.

I could be wrong, but here goes... A question was asked in BT and Alan responded in detail. The question regarded what the 'take' was for each band member on tour. Alan broke down the numbers (swag, venue, management, travel, lodging...) and it was very informative. Note: it was not an accurate assessment, just a hypothesis. It was shortly after this time he stopped posting.

I have no clue on the people you all were talking about, so I "googled". I bet most of you probably saw these articles already :)

This is about: Robert Allen (Alien) Craft

This is Alan Rosen:
