I must say I'm not quite sure what an engineer does though, compared with the producer and if it can be heard who did the engineering... Does an engineer focus on the more technical part of recording?

I think so. Also the producing is done by Karl Groom and Dragonforce

Nine more months and it is going to be warm again...

We're going to the city for a couple of drinks later tonight, I was already wondering whether I needed to wear gloves on the bike again. Still need to fix the bike though; flat tire... and as usual it is the rear wheel that has the flat tire.

Not to mention a fatter ego. Even in the DVD, she thinks of herself a lot.

Speaking of which...The Evanescence website hasn't been updated since the release of the DVD. Rockdetector says the drummer has moved on to a different project....I'm doubting that there'll be a second album, unless they're keeping it secret.

I hope they come back. It's better than the Hip Hop shit that they play on the radio. It would be nice to see another 17,000,000 seller, regardless of how much they are hated by most melodic rock fans.

Oh I think there'll be a second CD Jonny - a drummer can be sourced from anywhere mate......and with the sales of 'Fallen' I think you can take that to the bank.

I'd rather just fuck Amy Lee. The rest of the band can stick to the female groupies. :P

Why doesn't it surprise me that you'd point to a Arjen Lucassen project? I take it he wants to cash in on the goth scene once again? Sounds like it could've been mistaken for a follow-up to Ambeon. I'll have to keep an eye on this one.

Good evening/morning/afternoon!

How's the weather where you are, everybody?

Right now... (No. I won't type, "Ed has his hands full.")... it's 91° F / 33° C in Dallas. Way too hot!

Well folks, today was a very hot day here in Texas. It got up to 101 degrees today, which is way above the average high for this time of year.

But I have some good news, sort of; there's a bitch headed this way that will bring down my temperatures alot by Saturday. Her name? RITA!! With top current wind speeds at 175 MPH, Rita is every bit as powerful as Katrina was. Luckily I don't live on the Texas coast(180 miles north), however, a direct hit on Galveston will bring me more rain than I can handle.

Needless to say I won't be doing anything cool this weekend!!!

175? That has to be a typo! How could Rita gain 100 MPH in strength overnight??? Friggin Gulf of Mexico is a feeding ground for hurricanes, isn't it?

N.P. "Hurricane" -- Hurricane (no, not the most original song in the jukebox, but the lyrics are approperiate.)

No typo, however, Rita has weakened to 125 MPH winds now. She's still headed right for me though.
