Great show last night near Sacramento. 5 pre-Perry tunes that rocked. Sound was a little off at first, but was perfect after the first couple tunes. Crowd was mixed on the first set, but I was glad to see there were quite a few of us that new the old material and enjoyed it. Second set, the crownd went crazy. Everyone was up and singing along to all the hits. The generations material kicks ass. Listened to the CD on the way home and really dug it. Neal was his usual incredible self. Maybe even a little better if that is possible. Ross as solid as ever. Jon threw in his heart and soul as usual while singing and tickling those ivorys. Deen was awesome pounding away on the skins. Steve was great last night. He took a song or so to get those pipes warmed up, but I think overall last night was his best singing performances that I have seen him do. He really had some strength in that voice last night. The guy is great. Only disappointment was that Deen did not do any lead vox last night. Really loved his version of Mother Father last tour, and was hoping to hear it again last night. He may have been a bit under the weather, who knows. Overall another great night with Journey. :D :D :D
