It looks faded? That is peculiar. So it IS the same artwork though...I think I hoped they would change or alter the artwork a little like they did for Arrival.

It is faded on purpose...it is not as clean or nice as the freebie

Yeah, it's a dark transfer. As if they're trying to hide the overall substandardness of the image. I liked the way it looked on the freebie copy better.

Just came back from Borders and Tower Records here in Philadelphia. Both had it in the new release section.

Don't get ripped off like I did at Best Buy. $13.99 there.

Go to FYE, they're selling it this week at $11.99 (discovered AFTER the fact). Both had an impressive # of copies on display in the band's tab. They weren't among the other new releases where I went (BB and 2 FYES).

Thanks Joe. Tower Records in Center City has it for 18.99 and Borders has it for 15. I'm gonna wait awhile before I pick it up. I feel guilty not picking up a copy on the day it's released, but, I have other expenditures at the moment.

What?!?! That's bullshit.
I'm taking this thing back to BB and telling them I want to return it or I want the WalMart price.

Can't access the EPK, either. I wish they had done a dual disc with that material instead of the enhanced cd. Wasn't that big in, like, '95?

Oh, yea good to see you Greggie. Where you been at?

first song on the radio when I got back into SoCal was...you guessed it, TPIYH..KLOS Los Angeles.

If you watch the EPK, it is apparent to me now, that the Perry issue is still "there."

They blurred him out, when they showed the group shot at the WOF event...My God, is it this bad?
I did notice Perry got credit on track #9.

Also on the EPK, they play "Never too late" and use other concert shots...I HATE that shit...

Thanks Red! Sorry, I haven't had much time to post. I started a programming job during the day, and I have a part time job at a local college in the evening..needless to say, I've stretched myself thin! But, I'm saving up for that big ol' mansion of a house! (LOL..yeah right!)

Yeah man, it was something like $9.88 (some weird Walmart price.) I couldn't believe it either...I checked to make sure it was the enhanced version and it was, but I haven't tried the enhanced stuff yet. I think the enhanced stuff only works if you have Quicktime installed on your computer.

Here you go, if this wasn't posted already. This is from Walmart.com. I'm sure it's cheaper in the store and you don't have to pay for shipping.

Yeah, it's definitely cheaper in the store....at least at the Walmart where I live. Now, I'm not sure if Walmart prices their items according to location (such as raising the prices in a big city like New York,) but it definitely was cheaper at the store. I started to go by FYE in the mall on my lunch break, but decided to try Walmart first....glad I did!

I don't think that is a "Perry issue". It is quite possible that Perry did not approve the use of his image for a retail product that promotes a Journey without him. Perry does have the right on how his image is used.

Are you being sincere, or sarcastic?

And why the Hell haven't you bought your CD yet? If you had, you would know what I am talking about..

Remember in BTM, when they "showed" the band playing, Message of Love, but they really weren't....they used other clips from different songs..like the viewer is a dumbshit.... I hate Journey doing this...

And while I am on top of it(fuck I hate the South), I just looked at my old Frontiers Program...They have a centre Picture(double page), and on one of the pages, they show everything reversed..Neal is playing guitar the wrong way...the pick hand is his left in the pic... I think it is shallow of the final preps and the people who do this ought to be sent over to Opening Acts karaoke party :D I will now refer to him as Final Act....too funny

This is weird, Perry's image was not blurred on the European version. I'm assuming the US EPK footage is the same other than a blurred Perry...why even include this footage if you have to do this?
Also on the European release footage, there's some discussion of giving the cd away and the upcoming 3 hour show tour. Since this is now pretty much over, why did they include any of this?

I do believe some of the footage is different between the two versions. Having not seen the EPK I am assuming that the cd giveawy and 3-hour tour have probably been removed.

Hopefully. I had hoped the EPK from Frontiers would have more in studio footage of the making of the album. I may be buying the US version if I hear more evidence that the mix is different as someone stated obout TPIYH.

Accessed the EPK at home. Good, postive interviews, but I too, would've liked to've seen more actual recording-of footage.

Pumped to hear the single's on the air in LA, Dean.

Forgive my ignorance, but, I don't use the radio very much for music these days (i have the internet for that).
I listen to Stern, politcal radio and that's it.

MMR, The Ben, 94.5PST, MGK, and of course, 93.7 outa Wilmington (Maybe NIG could jump that bandwagon, too.).
93.7 was the only DelVal place I heard Higher Place.
