My AOW is Vagabond - s/t. Given it a few spins (after quite some time) and i like most of it...a few clunkers in there though.

ATOW is "Runaway Brides" by Brides of Destruction, it takes a few listens to get into it, but its not a classic like their 1st.

Strangely enough, I'm going mainstream for my AOTW. My friend burned me a copy of Disturbed "Ten Thousand Fists" which I thought I was gonna hate (I heard the singles from the album. I wasn't impressed.) But when I heard the album, I was surprised! There's actually some decent rock stuff that goes beyond the usual angry screaming! In particular, they do a pretty rockin' cover of Genesis's "Land of Confusion."

I never thought I'd ever say that Disturbed was good, but I am today.

Mine is either the new Sheryl Crow ("Wildflower") or Vanilla Ninja ("Blue Tattoo"). Haven't decided yet.

I need to choose between Lande/Allen, Symphony X - The Odyssey and After Forever - Remagine... They are all good, but very different from eachother. Out of all these albums the song I was most taken with was by After Forever; Being Everyone. So I'll go with them this week.

AOTW goes to an almost-forgotten classic: Lillian Axe "Love + War." There was a lot of copying and formulizing in the 80's, but Lillian Axe were one of the few that sounded different from the others. Vocal melodies & harmonies are almost 90's-esk, so they sounded ahead of their time a little. I feel that these guys would've been the next big thing if grunge had never set in.

Speaking of the Axe, where are they now? An announcement of a new album, then nothing since...will it even be worth listening now that their original singer is gone?

Blind Guardian - Touched by the Crimson King.

I like the album a lot, but I really think that bands should STOP covering Led Zep.

Gotta go with a keyboard klassic this week: Giuffria "S/T" is my AOTW. The ultimate wet dream for keyboard fans and keyboardists alike.

Here's to hoping the next House of Lords and Giuffria comebacks are just a pompy as the originals.

And while we're at it.... When are they gonna be re-released!

Well, I wouldn't say satisfy... The picture is reassuring though. You probably realised that the 5150 cover would get you into even more trouble, didn't you?
