They look great in their uniforms, and their bodies are so hot!! Well, most of them :)

Anyway, I don't think Steve looks so bad, he looks pretty good for his age. Great to see him out in public!!!! :)

Sadie, I have told you once, and I will say again..DDY will never be as good as Perry..so get over it...

I think it's funny that Chitown recruited a guy from San Francisco/San Diego to be their voice..What does that say about Dennis?

AJ used to play for the MN Twins and oh how fun it was going to see him play. Even last night as we were watching the game, my mom was saying, "there is my cute little Catholic Polock" She loves him...attitude and all.

U crack me up Deano! What's the Sizzler? A steakhouse?

Whatever, I will say he looks a little heavy in this pic....another pic at a different angle, minus the jacket, etc might yield something different.

BUT WHO CARES! He showed up! I figured he would, this is HIS kind of event!

Another Perry/White Sox article. Believe me, there will be a lot more!!

http://www.suntimes.com/output/worldser ... ans23.html

There was big money on display at Game One, including people sipping sparkling wine in front-row seats and decadent dessert trays being wheeled into the luxury suites. And there were celebrities, including Liz Phair, who sang "God Bless America" during the 7th-inning stretch, and Steve Perry, the former frontman for the rock group Journey, whose "Don't Stop Believin' " tune became a rallying cry in the Sox clubhouse.

"I'm beyond honored," Perry said from his front-row seat behind home plate as the song played over the P.A. "I can't even put it into words."

Don't be bitter and take it out on the STYX fans because the Sox won. Who cares how these people look, except for some of these hot ballplayers, yummy!! DeYoung and Perry, to me, have the best voices in music, nothing comes close.

Yes, Dennis was performing in Charleston and yes he was invited to the game. What's he suppose to do, give up a concert to go to a ballgame?

Fight all you want about this Deano, you'll never win. Everyone has their own opinion about music, that's what it's all about. Looks shouldn't matter, it's sad that people have to cut other people down on their looks.

Absolutely. The voices of my youth, the voices that continue to keep large portions of these boards going. Whether they ever sing another note, they definitely left an indelible mark on our memories and musical preferences.

Yes, Dennis was performing in Charleston and yes he was invited to the game. What's he suppose to do, give up a concert to go to a ballgame?

He did his job. No way he could have foreseen this months ago when the concert was booked.

I am going with the benefit of the doubt that Deano was talking smack here. I think for the most part, he'd say it's about the music. And both groups made/make great music.

Did any baseball fans forsee this line-up for the World Series? - LOL

He was talking smack about Journey being better than STYX . Both bands are great. I just don't want to get into the music politics of which band sold more records, grammy nomination/s, sold more concert tickets, blah, blah, blah - LOL

And his comment about Dennis and Steve's looks.

Oh I know he's done that elsewhere, I just didn't see it in this thread. He's entitled to his opinion. Journey is a great band, as is Styx. I was sticking with this thread only. -LOL

And his comment about Dennis and Steve's looks.
 [/quote]

His opinion. I'm still enjoying the baseball players.

LOL!! That's all LOL

I feel like we're at the Styxboard and going off-topic - LOL

Back to Steve Perry at the World Series

:)

I wonder if he (Perry) just came in for last night's game or if he'll be at more. I'm sure there will be more pictures showing up, that would be great to see. I didn't see any of him in the stands, but I'm sure they're out there.

It's not HIS song. It's JOURNEY's.

It DOES matter for some people. If all that matters is the music, why are we even discussing this? Steve Perry didn't sing...and I'm sure he had a lot of people encouraging him to.
