Those are listed alphabetically.
And in case anyone is still wondering, Jon Friga is Jon Cain.

I am surprised to see John Bettis on "Colours Of The Spirit" (he's also on Message Of Love)...he has some credits on Arrival material as well (I believe). I guess I was wrong, I was thinking of Pessis on Arrival.

I don't get this thread.
The names are listed alphabetically.
What does this prove?
You can find the same info by glancing at ur album liner notes.

These are listed in the liner notes? I don't have all the albums and cd's, oops sorry, I suppose I shouldn't have admitted that on here LOL

I thought maybe people on here didn't have time to look at each album

SMB,

Dave is being MORE than sarcastic..Don't waste your time with this one..

The worst Journey "thing" ever written, and maybe one of the worst songs in history period. (Yes, NC, worse than Believe).

I still can't believe Schon allowed this crap to be put on Trial by Fire, AND the Essential Journey!

You're high.
I'd take a whole album of "Baby I'm a leavin you's" before I subjected myself to one more full listen of that monotonous keyboard solo masquerading itself as a full song.

Well, in honesty, no it's not. You were asking for proof of who wrote how much of what. This just shows the writers as discussed to begin with.

I wish I were.

Dude, I know you HATE it, but come on? That scratchy, shit laden Perry vocal he put down on a reggae type song? OMFG...Re-think it, and get back to me.

At least Believe has "music?!" BILY, is garbage.

Sorry, I am steadfastly standing my ground on this matter. Say what you will, but at least BILY was delegated and obscured to bonus track status. "Believe" is located smack dab in the middle of the album where the momentum should be building, not screeching to a flat-lining dead halt.

ok ok..I get it..Yes, it blows, but would you at least put BILY in a dead heat tie for worst? and Back Talk right ahead of it..

Sorry, bud. You'll hate me for saying this, but through the years I have taken a slight liking for "BackTalk".
No, it's not the greatest, but hey, anything by melodic maestro J. Cain is listenable.
BILY is an interesting fruity little aside-no more, no less.
It's not particularly good, but it doesn't really damper my enjoyment of the album as a whole. However, I do understand where you're coming from.

I've always thought of BILY as a sort of novelty song, and I like it. I don't LOVE it, but I like it.

Keyboardist Jonathan Cain (who still tours as an original member with Journey) contributes an energetic (yet elegant, as its title suggests) piano piece, Elegance on the Catwalk, that serves as a great introduction to his post-Journey music.

I never heard of him before. Here's what I found:

http://www.bluedesert.dk/randygoodrum.html

After then, he continued to write many hit songs such as "Oh, Sherry" and "Foolish Heart" performed by Steve Perry on his first solo album titled "Street Talk" (1984), "I'll Be Over You" by Toto (1986), "If She Would Have Been Faithful" by Chicago and more.

Beats the living pulp out of me.
I own two of Neal's solo endeavors, and have a few Jon Cain solo songs illegally downloaded.
But I don't know this one, sad to say.
