I guess I can see how you would think that, but it's not what I meant at all. I only meant that he was the singer. It's the singer that stands out in most people's minds. That's not meant to take anything away from the other guys, it's just the way it is. :)

I checked a couple of the news videos they had on this link, but didn't find what I was looking for (is that a song?) anyway, I think the videos might be the latest news and not the news in the morning.

I didn't hear anything about Steve singing the song. I'll keep "googling" to see what I can find.

I'm sure if they do win tonight, that Steve would be part of the festivities or parade. I'd put money that he wouldn't sing the whole song by himself.

Personally, I hope he sings and sounds great. Perry would look foolish pullng out at this point.
I seriously doubt he will...he's not 30 years old anymore, but I BET he will sound great!!!

I guess we'll all know soon enough now. They swept in in 4 and I didn't even get to see the victory. I was up so late for game 3 that I just couldn't hang in there for all of this one.

I'm with you, I did say that I hope he tries to sing it... I didn't say I thought he would or could. I'd be shocked if he did.
Perryheads would think he sounded great (considering he hasn't been singing regularly...love his deeper more expressive voice...etc,etc) regardless of how he sounds.
