As an amateur photographer, I feel somewhat qualified to comment on this. The so called bad photo doesn't appear to be caused by a bad camera angle, as some would imply. If say, you photographed Perry's face only, and you didn't know what you were doing, it would look quite distorted made even more so by the fact that Perry's nose is bigger than normal. So you would have to compensate for that. A photographer would take the necessary steps to do that. The photo in question here shows Perry with a very disheveled look, something the camera didn't cause. The hair looks as frumpy as the clothes. His body looks chunky. If he went to a photographer's studio, these things could be camouflaged. However, this photo was taken in real time, so what you see is what you get! He doesn't appear to have aged any better than anybody else.
