Hi Dave,

Did you post the same thread? I'm from Boston, and you're from Colorado, so how did you hear about the article in the Globe?

Because I actually read the boards. It was posted on BT so I brought it here to share.

He didn't say that.

1. Click link Libraries.
2. click article search options.
3. scroll to Boston herald 1997-present
4. type Steve Perry and click Boston Globe.

You will see the article.

Funny, but it appeared just fine when I posted the story.

Funny, they ALSO played nearly every hit they had with Perry. So it was the best of BOTH worlds.

You're a riot Journey Dave. The link on Boston.com only shows for that day, and then it goes to the archives.

Why did you decide to post the thread? You aren't from Boston. I agree with the writer about calling the new singer of Journey "A C-Grade Steve Perry replacement."

Dave, can you explain to everyone why you post about Journey on about a half dozen Journey message boards per day? Shouldn't you be devouting you time to your family? I can't imagine the type of work you do that gives you seven hours a day to post on message boards.

Dave, Why do you posts on many Journey boards each day?

Why couldn't you let OpeningAct or I post the thread since we live in Boston? Instead, you had to scamper over to the Back Talk board and copy and paste the thread.

The writers exact words were: "Journey continues to tour with a C-grade Perry replacement."

I paraphrased what the writer stated, and you took offense to that.

All the bands are better than Journey. Are you going to get high tonight or drunk?

The tour was the worst of both worlds because many people couldn't stand the pre-Perry material. Also, many Journey fans already heard the greatest hits by Perry and were disgusted that the "C-Grade Perry replacement" had the audacity to ruin those songs too.

To share with the Journey and Perry fans on this board.

JourneyTroll wrote:You aren't from Boston.

So?

JourneyTroll wrote:I agree with the writer about calling the new singer of Journey "A C-Grade Steve Perry replacement."

Your right to do so...

JourneyTroll wrote:Dave, can you explain to everyone why you post about Journey on about a half dozen Journey message boards per day?

So your math skills suck as well? I post to TWO Journey Boards. That is no where near "half a dozen".

JourneyTroll wrote: Shouldn't you be devouting you time to your family? I can't imagine the type of work you do that gives you seven hours a day to post on message boards.

Journeytroll

There is that math thing again! Tricky ain't it. I do not spend 7 hours a day on these TWO boards. I spend plenty of time with my family, I am "devoting" my life to my family. I devote a very small time to Journey, this takes no great effort on my part.

You, however, need to "go away" for a month or two at a time thinking up new ways to get 'under our skin'. I grant you this, you provide entertainment!

Already covered that...

JourneyTroll wrote:Why couldn't you let OpeningAct or I post the thread since we live in Boston?

Gee, no one knows when YOU will show up. And Joe rarely starts any really threads here. Since when does anybody have a geographical right to a story about Journey?

JourneyTroll wrote:Instead, you had to scamper over to the Back Talk board and copy and paste the thread.

Scamper? This is the internet, I BROWSE BT.

I did not take any offense to any of your posts. But you put the term in QUOTES therefore you were indicating that you were NOT paraphrasing.

Time to give you a holiday I think.

Did you go? Did you witness the fans being "disgusted"? I went to a show...I watched the crowd. I know what the response was.

BTW, why don't you just fill up one post with nothing but the words "C-Grade Perry replacement" since you seem to feel the need to repeat it as often as possible?
