Look, I've stayed mostly out of this...except for a few swipes. I said before it even aired that he would sound like crap and it would be interesting to read all of the excuses being made. That is EXACTLY what happened. It is what happens EVERY time Perry sings. He sings at the Bill Graham tribute and sounds like crap...but it's because he hasn't performed in years (even though he was supposedly writing and recording an album at the time). He sings some Sam Cooke song on radio and sounds like crap because it's "on the radio and the quality isn't as good". So, this time it's a combination of 'not singing in years' and "he yelled and screamed during the games". Whatever...he still sounds like crap.

Comparing Perry with Bush and his war was really low and totally misplaced,can we talk musicianship here and leave the politics out of this pleeez!

Ok, Neal, dump Soul Sirkus and put JOURNEY as your priority again. Neal, your voice is not good enough to be on a Journey album, keep it on your solo stuff...it would be interesting to hear another vocal album from you - but not on Journey. Neal, some fans feel that there isn't much to look forward to for Journey - give us a reason to change our minds.

This can be a great board - but there are tines where some posts could be reconsidered before being added.

Generally I'm happy to let things run their course, but the tone of the board right now could be improved with a little extra consdieration for others.
