Rock-N-Diva and Dogs-I-Lean were right.........

Postby classicstyxfan » Mon Dec 05, 2005 12:16 pm

and The Bears led by Kyle Orton's astounding 68 yards of passing were simply too much for our Heroes in the Green and Gold today. And thus, the Packers will have to settle for owning the 2nd longest road winning streak against one opponent in the entire history of the NFL....a streak which ended at 11 games in a row.

That said, in accordance with the bet I made with the boys of this board, I make the following statement, which I will expound upon daily during the next 7 days:

Journey is the greatest Rock Band of all time, AND The Seattle Seahawks rule the NFC.......come on back tomorrow, and I will expound on the reasons these 2 statments are true.

Sincerely,

ClassicStyxFan.

I'm pretty sure Deano had a pretty good weekend, except for ending up in the hospital, but he's okay now.

When he comes back, he'll go through my pictures and I'll post the ones he picks out!!

I'll post my Journey review tomorrow, EXCELLENT concert!!!!

Classic, you're a good guy to post that :) Thank goodness no one made a bet with me on the boards - LOL

As a matter of fact I was. I was right across the street where the main party and button pushing was. Laughed my ass off. That building is a tough ol bird, just like the old timers who built it said it would be.

Okay Dogsi, let me get this straight.......It's OKAY or you to call me Assholestyxfan, but Dogs-I-Lean and Rock-N-Divo are "sour grapes" ????

Wow, I knew you Journey "Men" were sensitive, but that takes it to a whole new level ! Shall I send some kleenex you way so you can dab the tears away from your eyes ? perhaps some new mascara is is order too...yours surely must be smeared.

I am sorry, never knew y'all were so delicate

I called you that after you started the dumb nickname for Deano in the Styx forum. And you started a thread calling Journey fans "Divas". And now that you have taken the low road by starting a thread in this forum with an insulting title just to make yourself feel better about being a loser (I mean with the bet, of course  ), I think your new nickname fits to a tee. Don't dish it out if you can't take it.

Oh, and by the way... the Packers SUCK.

I have been staying out of this little feud, and NiG has already responded, but I thought I would add this as an outsider's POV.

You stayed true to your bet and made the thread, but you put a crappy title to the thread and made a remark or two IN your post to negate the "honorable" nature of this thread...

Yes, he did, Dave. As I said, he took the LOW road. He proposed the bet to Deano, talks trash all week leading up to the game, then does that. He needs to start a new topic with a better name and continue posting his Journey and Seahawks praises for Deano.

Hey, call me anything you want......I have thick skin.

Neal, I spelled your Screen name backwards and this offends you. Dude, thats a little scary to me. Deano makes a fuss about which band is listed 1st in the MR index, and I call him a Diva......By Definition Divas get upset over little things.

You can dislike the nick names I use to refer to you...and you can respond by calling me whaever makes you feel good. My post wasnt in protest of what you call me at all.

Now, would you prefer Puffs or Kleenex ? I'll send a 3 pack of your choice.

While trying to stay out of the pissing contest here, I can honestly say after having met Dean now, that he is a great guy. Yes, he can and does use some crude wording here (and I wasn't/am not always crazy about that), but he made sure that everyone around him was taken care, included, and comfortable. He took the injury to his hand with a great deal of class. Bet included, he is a stand up guy.

Just my unasked for .02

Anyway, Dean is a great guy and he was tons of fun!! I'm looking forward to him posting again.

Hopefully he'll remember these:

Meeting Kevin Chalfant (great guy) I took pictures of Dean and him :)
Talking with Back Talkers (LOL)
A lot of Snow & driving (LOL)
Air Guitaring
Bar Bowling (LOL) - I have pictures
Beer & Orange x 20 pitchers (LOL) I have pictures
Oh, the Journey concert - I have pictures, but they're terrible
Head butting and fisting - his injury (Ouch) I have pictures
Bear/Packer game

Something tells me he will. I'm afraid however...he'll also remember my driving skills (or lack thereof-LOL). Sadly, was not one of my better weekends...but hey Dean now knows how to overuse turn signals here in the Land of Lincoln. Be kind Dean...be kind.

He may also remember the arctic temps he experienced here, looking for a 24 hour pharmacy, trying to teach certain people how to play along with the game using a computer...and just maybe the experience of eating true sliders.

I'll post my review shortly. Hurry home Dean. Very glad you came.

Sadie, no offense, but Illinois drivers are the worse. I can't remember being so scared in my life -LOL I thought Froy was a bad/crazy driver especially on those back roads, but you sure took the cake on Saturday. In Illinois, I guess you can make your own lanes -LOL

I'm just kind of kidding with you - LOL :?

The bar computer during the game was a fun experience :)

Hey look...I publicly admitted it wasn't one of my better weekends...no point in killing me with it.

Though he did promise me driving lessons for the next trip ;)

Meeting Kevin Chalfant was nice...watching Dean with the woman from Back Talk...equally amusing.
