Sorry Niggster..I do....I do care that they are good folks too. That's a major reason I despise that bitch Perry. She can sing, but like I said, is a bitch.

Saw Soul Sirkus at the Birchmere last April and they kicked ass. I never got the CD, though because the music just wasn't that accessible. Had Sammy and Planet Us taken off, I probably would have bought the CD, just because Sammy has always been one of my heros. But live, the SS show absolutely kicked ass. There were a couple points where the show did seem to drag...namely all the solo parts. Marco's virtual conga solo was particularly odd, though Virgil's solo is what really stuck with me that night.

Honestly, the music just was very heavy jam-based material, and not very accessible. Not to the average Journey fan, and though it was compared initially as "super group" along the lines of Velvet Revolver, that wasn't really accurate either. I can see Neal spending the money to bankroll it, but truly, if there are losses that need to be cut, what can you do? Seems like a normal business decision to me. Neal strikes me as the kind of person that gets very hot onto something and lets it run its course and then kind of lets it fade away when he isn't very excited about it anymore.
