I look at it like this...people go through changes (I mean fans). When I was younger, I could not get enough Vanilla ice cream. I hated chocolate. Now, I prefer chocolate. Did vanilla change? Did chocolate? No, although my tastes have changed.

I truly believe that even if Perry was still in Journey, they would not have the following that they did in the 80s. Nothing lasts forever. TV shows come and go, get renewed, get cancelled. Fads come and they go. Why? Because people's tastes change.

When I went to the recent Journey concert with my wife, it was a packed house and I was impressed to see a ton of kids in attendance with their parents. But I think for most of us as adults, it's difficult to fully enjoy something to the same degree that we enjoyed it when we were younger.

Which way really IS more advantageous?

OhSherrie, the thing is she did comment on it....and she only posts those kinds of things. You, on the other hand post about everything.

Yes, but he can be very 'instigatory' as well.

Yep...he's got some good material backing up his devotion to the current, real-life Journey.

I don't see what the problem is with a little rumbling now and then, as long as no one takes it to a serious level.

Yak's fuse is not very long when he's hit with Saint Perry rhetoric. He immediately start throwing "Purpose Pitches" (for us baseball fans).... nothing wrong with that.

Hey, doesn't bother me. But there are days when Yak rolls through here and each post to a thread is an instigatory one that is bound to incite the Perry fans. They are factual from his perspective and they are not lude/crude so I have no issue with it. Just pointing it out. Sorry if I offended ya Yak.

Why argue if you aren't taking matters seriously anyway?

I never did get that. Why play sports if you are going through the motions. Why cuss out HOTS if you really don't believe in what you are saying?

I DO care, prolly too much. I am fighting with every breath against those wack jobs.

Ruccuses (Did I speel that wright, lurking futbol bet loozers?) are part of the cleansing cycle around here. they happen and are sometimes even productive. It happens in families, and what are we here, if not a big family?

If you are saying we in here are a big family, then you are high.

Now, I could agree to a big dysfunctional family....for sure.

We all love our dad, Andrew though.
