No bro; wrong guy. Monker and the Noble Cause are the ones bitching. hell, I love the ME from Albany and you don't. that 28 fag does bitch too.

28 fag?!?! Not cool!
And I didn't bitch, I commented.
But I am really digging the opportunities to hear these other shows. And a Gen boot that includes the pre-Perry set is exactly what I am looking for. The only thing that would be better than the show you guys are talking about, is if it were the Denver show that I went to. Because then I could REALLY compare what I experienced AT the show, to how it sounds recorded.

I was the one who bitched.
Albany sounds horrid.
While it was cool to hear "Where Were You" dusted off, Augeri's pipes weren't up to the challenge.
Even Neal said that Augeri had no voice for a large portion of the Main Event tour.
Still cool to hear though.

Another Ontario

Postby AR » Thu Dec 22, 2005 1:44 pm

I'm trying to get a hold of another Ontario show. This one is from London, Ontario from 11/19. Hopefully I'll be able to get it, but there are only 2 seeders hosting it at the moment.

Some comments from the torrent site:

Overall, Steve's voice sounds the best I have heard live in person since he joined the band. Also
of note is the playing of Oh Canada. Several previous visits, Neil has either played the US anthem or Amazing Grace.
This may be the first time he has played this live.

Success!

Just finished downloading this morning. I will give it a listen over the Christmas holiday and then give a full report on it's sound quality, performance, etc.

I believe Augeri has said that his voice was screwed up from tour rehearsals being in Vegas for the Main Event Tour. He also had problems resulting from the rehearsals leading into the recording of Arrival.

Augeri

Postby AR » Sat Dec 24, 2005 8:52 am

Augeri's voice is really strong on the London Ontario show 11/19/05. Much better than any of the Ontario Casino Rama shows.

He really got better as the tour went on. Best I have ever heard him was in Baltimore this year. He was spot on. :D

I'd like to hear that, cause Augeri sounded the best I've heard him in New York a few days later.

But, what I really want is the Greek, cause Steve put the mic in my face and my voice may very well be in the mix.

Yeah we know. Perry is over!

Now get the fuck outta here.

Sure, while Andrew is away, you want to provoke. I am not taking it. I will NOT sleep in order to defend this board.

HOTS......... I think you need to wake up. It isn't over at all. You just are stuck in one mode of Perry only. I, too, like Perry's music, his stage presence, but I am not blinded by it, or stuck on just that like you.

Go back to your own fucking board and leave us alone.......

I was on the lower level directly behind the soundboard. Easier to get beers from there! :D

A buddy of mine filmed that show. He ran out of tape with 15 minutes to go though. I have it on DVD, but can't let it out. :x Not my call, but I respect his wishes..... For now. Don't want to be cut off from future gems.

Maybe I'll ask about trading the audio to that one.

How the hell do you not get caught filming a concert? We got harassed a few times just for standing to close to the railing.

The equipment is so small these days that it's not as tough to do it as you might think.

What kind of crap is this?
This is the exact type of spurious hit N' run posting that Andrew purposely warned you desperate old maids against.
