In this British magazine we can find Journey on 16th spot.
Journey-Generations.
A supremely glossy AOR excursion from the US soft rock veterans. There are ballads and bombast in equal measure, and a powerful production job by the legendary Kevin Elson. And to think the band gave away this masterwork for free at their US gigs!

It seems the Frontiers label has done a very good job at promoting GENERATIONS over in Europe...certainly more than we can say for Sanctuary over here....pathetic!

Ahead of The Rolling Stones A Bigger Bang (I can't choose between that and Generations) and Bon Jovi Have A Nice Day and Springsteen's Devils And Dust all of which also paced in the top50.

Thanks for this stellar find, gr8dane! I agree that Journey belongs up there with the best of them. I have several copies, both from concerts attended, and from buying some copies upon release.

It's a great magazine, I pick up an import copy once in a while.
