Postby Rockindeano » Wed Mar 01, 2006 11:46 pm

Hi fellow MR'ers!

What song do you want your favourite radio station to play today?

I am going to call my station and request Kiss Me Softly and Open Arms. Nothing could beat that on a tough grueling week.

Let's here your choices!

Also, I volunteer to coordinate Journey T Shirt day every Wednesday of every month.

I thought I was seeing things
So I look all over and discover
that we have awaken to a new Deano
he is even baring flowers in his avatar.
I am in shock.
Can't even think straight right now so
I shall get back to you on this thread.

Yes, Nealisgod, I am sorry for mistakenly leaving Butterfly off my request list.

I will request a track off of George Tickner's melodic magnum opus , VTR.
Why my Top 40 station never plays it when I request it, I will never know.

I was watching the game show "Distracted" on Comedy Central last night and they were having people guess the name of bands while cracking eggs on their faces - and the host says, "Lovin Touchin Squeezin, Faithfully --" And the girl got it right away!!!! IT WAS OUR BOYS!!!

Methinks someone at Comedy Central may be a fan of Journey, hmmm???
.

That is great news Jeremey! Glad to see others finding out about Journey!

Nealisgod wrote this in his location under his avatar:

"Abandoned by Deano, I trudge on in the war against the Loons..."

NIG, I didn't abandon you.

See, I was leaning on this broken fence
between past and present tense
and I'm losing all those stupid games
that I swore I'd never play
and it almost feels ok

circumnavigate this website
of wonder and uncertainty
armed with every precious failure
and amatuer comedy

Can I foil these attempts of ruining the most beautiful,sweet,smooth,silky...and then...adorable,charming,funny,passionate...thread of all times?
Don`t you see this is made in Heaven?

Let me put it this way:

A great many things in the world
Are never looked at close enough
Have you ever had a day when you just sit
And watch the grass grow
And thought…
How beautiful!
Have you ever wondered what the world would be like
If there was no conflict ever?
No wars
No arguments
No spread out emotions
A world where everyone was always happy?

:P

Or...As Keats said once:

"A thing of beauty is a joy forever:
Its loveliness increases; it will never
Pass into nothingness....."

:D

And...even a little song is coming now:

"Now I've heard there was a secret chord
That David played, and it pleased the Lord
But you don't really care for music, do you?
It goes like this
The fourth, the fifth
The minor fall, the major lift
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah !!!!"

Hi everybody! Hope all of you are in high spirits, because I am!

Just heard Who's Cryin' Now in the Doctor's office! I wanted to get up and dance! Others were looking at me like I was crazy! I had my Journey shirt on. I talked to all the waiting patients about how good Generations is, and how remarkably better Steve Augeri is than Steve Perry!

The next time I go in, I am making copies for the entire office crew!

WOOHOO!

No, cudaclan. I have partaked in the great spirit of Life. The wholesome nature that God provides us as a people.....the kinship in which we feel on this beautiful board. The way we are treated by our commander and chief, Mr. Andrew McNiece.

I am asking all Melodic goers to find some love and channel it through one another and let the harmony take us to new Frontiers.
