There was an article from the Associated Press this morning that Steve Tyler was having surgery for an undisclosed medical condition and the remainder of their tour has been cancelled.

Here's wishing you well and a speedy recovery!

Andrew, any idea what his condition is that requires surgery???????

False internet reports had it either bird flu or cancer . When they had to cancel shows in the last two weeks they kept saying upper respiratory problems, but I don't know that that would require surgery! I hope it's nothing serious!

I would think it's surgery on his throat. I'm sure there will be more reports/rumors coming in today!!

The fact that they're not disclosing it tells me that it's something serious. Hope I'm wrong.

This could be something as simple as a deviated septum...though I read somewhere that he's been seen in public whispering like he's got laryngitis.

Probably throat surgery of some kind.

Which actually, really, could be something as simple as tonsils. I know mine flared up last yer and I couldn't talk for a week.

If it's throat surgery, he's got polyps and they're going in with a laser. No speaking/singing for at least 6 months!
