You're wasting you're breath. Lori would love Perry if he sang with laryngitis.

Besides that, I don't want to post on ANY board with ANY UnJourney ass-wipes.....(Loon Quote)

Lori

Well actually, I think it would be a gas to see you hoofing it across the Great Plains with your cattle friends...Just imagine, all you fatassed Loons being paraded along, mowing down the praire grass, taking Loon dumps along the way, and generally being Loonsteers...

It would be a fantastic show! :D

Journey's normal rate I believe is around $100,000...It sounds to me like this was interfering with the tour rehearsal schedule, and possibly plans they had set up with Def Leppard, so they kept asking for more and more money so it would look like they wouldn't have to turn it down. Sorry it didn't work out for you...For $250,000 you can get ANY classic rock band out there right now, and most any other band that isn't in the league of a Dave Matthews/Jimmy Buffet or similar $500k + act.

Hmmm.....Not sure we have the name recognition for an event like that, but we'd certainly come in under budget! :)

That figure was accurate about the time of the main event tour. Not saying they don't make more or less than that at any given show, but right now, it's a safe bet they're averaging about 100K.

When they played House of Blues MB, they didn't make $100,000...Don't think there's a whole lot of $$ out there to be had for a band touring every summer on the same set list. Why do you think they've teamed up with Def Leppard this tour? Then last year it was the 3 hour Evening With tour, then the year before the main event tour...It's no longer $100K, on average.

Hey Yak,

I don't appreciate you putting this quote BELOW, making it appear that I made this remark, when I DID NOT SAY IT ANYWHERE! I don't speak that way!
