Need Journey song wedding reception advise!

Postby JourneyTroll » Sun Apr 02, 2006 9:03 am

Hi Journey fans,

I want one Journey song played during my wedding reception. Would you recommend When You Love a Woman during the dinner part or dancing part of the wedding reception? I have heard Faithfully and Open Arms too many times for those songs to be moving during the reception?

Thanks,
Journeytroll

WYLAW should come in early during the first dance song set as it speaks for that part of the event...

I got engaged in the summer of 2005, and it takes time to plan a wedding. Just getting a top notch DJ is difficult. Try also getting a caterer, wedding dress for my fiance, wedding rings, invitations, hotel bookings, photographer, organist, etc.

We didn't want the wedding in the winter. Plus, deciding on where we are going to live was an important factor.

When You Love A Woman is such an outstanding song by Journey. I think it will be part of the reception.

Thanks,

WYLAW would be my pick and I think that you should sing it, JT.

Edge of the Blade, because your marriage will end anyway. Might as well get some divorce/hate song started early.

Don't do it, dude, unless you like writing checks out.

Jesus Christ Andrew. You let him back, and he brings yet another alter ego. He is fucking conversing with himself.

Amazing.

Like I said, I hope you die, Troll. AIDS, hurricane, bullet..whatever.

I gave Andrew my word I wouldn't be a problem in this forum so I edited what I originally wrote Deano. Wrap yourself up in your own miserable life for all I care. What you say has no bearing on my life.

What a snake you are! Your tactics are unbelievable. Why did you have to mention that you edited what you originally wrote? So people here would believe you are the “good guy”? It would have been easier to erase your post if you didn`t want trouble, right?
Give me a break.I saw what you posted on both threads, before you decided to play innocent.I was online when you did it.
I'm going to quote from my very good memory.
“Talking to myself?Your paranoia is showing Deano…
You are a sad and pathetic individual. If I would ever meet you I would RUN the other way for the sake of my LIFE and well being.”

On the “Might be gay” thread you were the one who provoked, remember? Then when you got a harsh reply you went on with the personal attacks. I saw what you posted there, too, before your editing.
“Put down the drink Deano and go get yourself some help. You need it.”

So why don`t you cut the shit,Joseph.Everyone knows you and Troll are the same person. It doesn`t take a shrink to figure out you have a personality disorder.Talking to yourself is a symptom.
But,of course, you will deny you are ill. That`s a symptom too.
Go get professional help.

I am NOT the same person as JT, Shania. Because "everyone knows it" that makes it so?
And yes I did delete what I said. I wasn't trying to be the nice guy, I just thought it was inappropriate, despite what Deano said. And YES I gave Andrew my WORD!!!
So nice of you to put it back up there....

Thank you Deano. I plan on the marriage to be my first and last.

What about "Just the Same Way?" This is a hard song to dance to though.

Maybe I should have "I'll be Alright Without You" or "Separate Ways (World's Apart)" as my choices.

Deano, for the last time, I am not Reardon.

I swear this on the eyes of Steve Perry. I swear this on the eyes of my fiance. Repeat. I am not Joe Reardon, but I like Joe as a person. We do live in the same state, and we met briefly once in 2002 in NH.

Why don't you reprise Happy To Give, the song that eventually got you tossed in the clink after the karaoke?

What Cd is gone crazy off of?

Just to let you know, Reardon is posting right now too. It is about 11:38 a.m. where I live. Check the IP numbers and this will prove I am not him.

It's weird that with your illness your're never "all Joe" per se.
But you're sometimes "all Journeytool."

Confounding. :?

Hey JT,

I would go with WYLAW for Journey tune, but I also think this solo song of Perry's "Once In A Lifetime, Girl" would be great too! :D

Yep, I was man enough to put my grill on the net. I make no apologies for slamming beer. I obviously can handle it, you choose to quit...quitter. Oh, and what did you do? You were so enamored by my face, you posted it all over the net. You trashed me, Andrew and The Noble Cause. Real class act...cocksucker.

Oh, by the way, my hand is just about healed. Feel free to look me up...I would love to square off with you...Love to. Set it up at 13's crib. I will fly back there.

Make you a deal. If you lose, you pay for my plane ticket, and if I lose, I will buy your Acela ticket. Also, loser in the fight never comes back to the board. Deal? I am dead serious.

To make it even more enticing, I will slam a 12 pak prior to the fight, while you can pray and drink H2O.

Set it up 13. make some calls. Get a ring in your backyard.

I get winner (YOU) and we face off over the Augie debate. Actually, you're 6-3 235...er me and Niggy vs you then. Or we could have that round robin super tecmo tourney like REAL men.
