A very polite review. I do not mean that in a bad way, you found a way to present negatives in a fashion that would still give room to each listener to form their own review. I like that. I do not like critics who are really trying to influence me into buying or not buying something. You gave an informative review.

Thanks.

I try to be as evenhanded as I can in a review. The format of the reviews for the website make it that way.

Even on albums where they generally suck ass, I can generally find something positive about it, whether it be a really cool guitar line or a lyrical passage.

I've been a fan of Survivor for a very long time so I'm extra careful to look at everything about it before I do a review. The same goes for when I did the Jim Peterik review a few weeks ago and the Pride of Lions review last year.

Spot on point about Nevertheless, Tage. This Sullivan stuff's been killing me. I lead fine, but.........ah what's the use? People get pissed every time I get into this.

Hey I don't care if other people get pissed. What are you talking about? As long as it isn't vulgar, I enjoy reasoned opinions even if I don't agree with them after reading them.

Well I was intrigued by your point that it wasn't so much Frankie singing NTL that bugged you but the decidedly un Survivor like vibe to it as opposed what everybody seems to feel is the classic Survivor esque # Talking Bout Love. Also i started to say that I can see the novelty of 1 Frankie song, but not 2 on a 12 track album.

Okay, that's cool, I don't see why people would go crazy on you for that. It's a valid opinion.

And for the record again, the guy's a friggin AMAZING guitarist. Genius timing and all around sound. 'Course I can say the same about jamo as a singer.
