Interesting Radio Comment

I just heard a DJ (on KKFM 98.1 Co. Sprgs.) talking about the Journey show at Red Rocks and she said that Journey was headling Red Rocks in August and "of course" Def Leppard was opening the show.

I am trying to find out if she is simply misinformed, or if there is a chance Journey WILL close some shows....

Doubt it, probly that DJ's personal assumption.

During the Arrival tour they played a jrny track on a classic station around here and the dj chimed right in with her opinion passed off as fact that they would be "doing some openings for Frampton this summer" and I knew right away I was listening to a journey hater putting out propganda. Journey closed every night and at his PEAK jrny would never have opened for frampton.

Here in Denver the Arrival Tour was being promoted by our local classic rock station as Frampton with Journey and Waite! I was so pissed!! The radio station even had the nerve to show up to the concert and broadcast!!

I like the point Journey is openeing, that way I don't have to sit thru a "maybe boring Def set. If def was opening, it would be hard to get up and leave when Journey hadn't played yet-ERIC

Yea, right! It wasn't even a "triple bill" so to speak, like this is a "double bill" even though DL is closing all the time.
The Arrival tour was clearly a Jrny headlining trek.... DJ agendas gotta love it. AKay, did you promote the Arrival tour w/ Jrny as the headliner they were?
