The one thing that seems to debunk Pink Floyyd is 'Drew said none of the members have beed doing anything even solo (I think) but Gilmore has a new album out now....

This is fun, isn't it?

I think we should all post one official guess before Andrew spills the beans next week. I'll go with Angie and say it is Zep (even though it's not officially a "reunion").

That's not true. Gilmour went out in support of his solo album with a tour and actually took along Rick Wright with him and Roger Waters just announced some tour dates about two weeks ago, plus he's been working on a musical thing Ciara Ira(or something like that).

I'll guess the original Santana band, which doesn't include Neal. That has been talked about here before. I don't see why it couldn't happen.

It has to be Journey related and Andrew stated that's why he was
posting in this forum back on page 1.
Well Santana is Journey related but Carlos has been going strong
for decades man.
Maybe it's that Augeri thing......if so it's lost my intrest.
But thats just my personal taste.
Hmmmm much loved....Journey related.......damn I am stumpified!

It is NIG who posted the topic as the "news" was/is on MR`s front page. However, for the time being, it is only a "rumor".

Well, it doesn't look like it's GnR:

Guns N' Roses frontman and sole original member W. Axl Rose has broken his silence on the group's lineup, their upcoming four-night stand in New York City -- which reportedly sold out in three minutes -- and their future plans. Rose was a surprise guest on New York City radio station WAXQ-FM on Friday night (May 5th), and he confirmed that the band is basically the same one that did the 2002 tour -- guitarists Robin Finck and Richard Fortus, bassist Tommy Stinson, keyboardist Dizzy Reed, and drummer Brain -- with the only changes being a new guitarist he declined to name to replace Buckethead, who quit in 2004.

Rose also said that the 2002 tour gave the guys the feeling of being a true band, rather than a group of hired sidemen, and that everyone's excited to play May 12th, 14th, 15th, and 17th at the Hammerstein Ballroom before they head out for European shows, including two opening for the Rolling Stones in Germany in July.

Finally, Rose said that the long-delayed GNR album Chinese Democracy will be a single CD that will come out in the fall, when the band will play more shows in North America. He also revealed that the band has actually been recording "two-and-a-half, three albums worth of material," and that songs are still moving back and forth between Chinese Democracy and the second release.

Yea, what a great tour that '02 one was....came through philly w/ out even coming through Philly. Sold-out show in Dec. '02 at the First Union Center was another Rose no-show. He apparently never left NYC that night. Sioux Falls to the Nth degree, AKay. Least you guys got a show,

Rose is a blooming idiot.

Looks like Andrew was referring to Winger (see the front page). I don't consider them much-loved, and don't find this news terribly exciting. Do all of you?

This doesn't add up. Andrew said the members had not been working together in any way. Yet Kip produced the Mob CD that Reb was a part of. And I am pretty sure Rod has been involved with Kip on a project as well. This is not a surprise at all. There has been talk of a Winger reunion for some time now. And Kip has always said he would be willing as long as it wasn't just for the money.

Alice In Chains has already announced...there HAVE been lots of rumors about GNR and Genesis. Kiss is only missing Peter these days....Pink Floyd has been denying since July. Extreme is reuniting, but I think they announced already and much loved? Eh...

Actually, I think it IS Led Zeppelin. I read rumors a while back that Plant and Page have been seen together in LA working together. Could happen, just need a new drummer(pull Jason out of Foreigner).

Much loved is pretty subjective, but Zeppelin IS much loved.

K first off, it CAN'T be Winger. Second, Kiss is actually missing Ace again too. Current lineup is Gene, Paul, Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer.

Kiss! Well for goodness sakes Kiss! Again this would not be a "bang" at all. Let it be a band that generates some excitement and interest.

Then you might have been too OLD for Winger! They went for the late teen, early twenty set when they were big. lol!

"Headed For a Heartbreak"

"Hungry"

"Seventeen"

"Madalaine"(my personal favorite)

Their big one: "Miles Away"

Hey, anyone remember this one with Fiona? "Everything You Do (Your Sexin Me)" HA HA!

Well, Angie, when Steve joined Journey, I was 21. In 1987, I was a Mom to my first girl, who was 1 year old at the time, so yeah, I was too old for Winger ! :D

Winger isn't even a real band.

You have got to be fucking yourself. Winger? Winger??

Dude, I would be more interested in a Milli Vanilli or a Monkees reunion than these asswipes.
