Besides, the Greek vocal is really raw, LV vocal is polished. You can polish a vocal but you can't unpolish it. This is not the same vocal, I'll bet all my audio engineering experience on it.

The Vegas vox were done over by Elson with either pro-tools or whatever, after the show was done and before it went to issue.

However, theses songs are thieved, from Vegas.

Deano, if you're asking us to compare the Vegas vocals before they were Pro-Tooled or polished, that's impossible. We don't have access to those vocals. I can't speculate what was done in post.

I compared the Greek and Toronto Ask The Lonely vox and they sound different to me.

CD.No doubt about it.This time it was enough to listen once to both versions.Identical.What`s to explain?My ear says the sound of the "live" recording is flawless.Plastic.Artificial.There is NO such thing,no matter how proffesional the band could be.
It simply lacks the "warmth" of the live rendition.It's so...44kHz,if you know what I mean.

I agree that Perry cares about the MUSIC & the time period HE was in the band, but I would think He would have to be attending Journey's concerts in order to know if Augeri was lip synching or not.
