Should have been listening to Doro or Sonata Arctica, but I haven't been able to tear myself away from Bruce Dickinson - Tyranny Of Souls.

My AOTW goes to Nocturnal Rites "Grand Illusion." I like this one more than their other stuff. There's less double-bassing, more keyboards, and they even experiment with grunting on one of the tracks.

Sorry I liked the Radioactive CD you were playing!

Well, it is either that one, or the same as Tali this week. I am so unoriginal.

AOTW goes to The Burns Sisters "Endangered Species." A forgotten AOR gem.

I've been listening to a CD with a girl described as the female version of Ronnie Dio. Even though I like the band, I don't agree with the description of Rainbow, and like bands. I think they don't sound anything like it... The album: Uncreation by Benedictum.

Where does that DVD come from? Is it official?

I will go local with my AOTW, and that goes to Eden's Lie "S/T." All their previous material (including what I've shared here) was all released independently. This is their first album on a record deal, the first of what I hope will be many. It's an excellent blend of modern melodies and melodic rock.

The cd release party is in two weeks. LIVE THE LIE!!!

...and perhaps because her name could be shortened from Veronica to Ronnie? I thinks she's taller though. :D

That chick from Benedictum has a testicular voice...the band is pretty straight up power metal type stuff...nothing like Rainbow.

Let's hope so... Otherwise her voice should have been up a few octaves... Smurfette!
