Who vs Who?

I wanted to open a new thread because I don’t even know where to reply anymore.There are 77 topics which debate the same things and what I want to say is more like a recap of everything that happened here in the past days.
After reading all the posts I felt like maybe we need to see what we have.
First,I would start with what someone said,something like "if you don’t agree with Dean,you are an SOB".
Geez…we are not discussing typical subjects these days,what ifs,why nots and such.This is not Loons vs Goons,Bush vs Clinton or Soccer Sucks.This is far more serious and it puts in question the integrity of a rock’n’roll band.
It’s not about Dean at all.Some of you act like you want to shoot the messenger!Let’s face it:he knew some things,he was brave enough to take the risks and present the actual material.
He backed up his convictions and now it’s a matter of deciding for ourselves.
All I can say is if Dean would have been wrong with all this,I am sure the subject would've died in one afternoon.
The fact that it's still up and there are two so called camps here proves that something IS happening.
Sure,everyone is entitled to their own beliefs depending on what they hear and how much they care about this.
Maybe some are afraid of saying publicly what they think.
There are all kinds of fans…Some are passionate, some are soft and some just don’t care at all.Some fans demand respect,while others settle for less.
That’s fine.But why blame a fan who is different from you?

Personally,I believe Journey is faking the live act.Not because Dean says so,but because I trust my ears and my judgement.
To make sure,I took the tracks to a studio engineer and he gave them a listen.He said it's lip synch.I didn’t come running here and post about that.
I didn't even told Dean what the engineer said,and that's because I wanted this for me, a confirmation of my own conclusions.

So let’s leave Dean out of this.
This is about Journey and about how each of you handles the situation.
Maybe the band will lose some of its credibility and some of its fans,but it might as well happen to work like negative publicity works.
Maybe this summer a lot people will go to the shows driven by the curiosity to see if it's real or fake.

The saddest part of this entire story would be if the camaraderie between the members of this board would be spoiled.

The only camaraderie that is being affected, IMO, is between Deano and those who don't buy into it 100%. I have no ill will toward anyone about this. I just don't take it as seriously as some. Before I started posting here, I owned no boots. Some people were nice enough to send me some. I enjoy them, but am not as into boots as others on this board. And I have about 10,000 more important things in my life to worry about than this.
