The Ozzy syndrome

No,I´m not talking about his mental illness but more towards the type of setlists Ozzy always plays during tours.
I have seen him a couple of times now and a few more shows on TV and everytime he´s only playing old hits plus Sabbath songs,it doesn´t matter if Ozzy has released a great new studio album - he will only play maximum 2-3 songs from that cd if you´re lucky.
The same with Journey, they are only doing a hits tour after hits tour.
Why did they even bother recording Arrival and Generations if they won´t play any songs from those records live, yeah they do 2 from Generations this tour (wow) and none from Arrival.
I did my own best of collection from the Augeri era and it´s a great cd.
My biggest nightmare would a re-recorded album with Augeri covering only Perry songs........brrrrrrrrrrr.............
Journey is not just a band,it´s a way of life!

I have stated in the past I would like an Augeri lead cd doing Perry era hits. I don't think it would go over well, but I would like it to see a different spin put on the songs.
while we are at it, I also would like to see that cd done acoustic, along with new songs. -ERIC

Perry would NEVER allow it. Period.

That's like spray painting the Mona Lisa. What a horrible idea.

I know Perry would not go for it, for better or worse, I liked the idea. If not old songs new songs, just a whole acoustic cd-ERIC

I'd rather see Augeri do a live dvd covering Tiny Tims songs with a banjo.
