Ok, not calling you a liar at all, but how can the place be packed, and also "a lot of people left after Journey?"
Someone is BS ing.
What they should do is a ticket exchange. When Journey fans leave, give your ticket to waiting DL fans. If anything, you would sell more t-shirts, beer and food.
Journeygal, Orch sec A.
Deano, that did happen - there was a lot of seat changing in between shows.
I really wouldn't say one show was more crowded than the other, sorry. After three or four songs, Journey started to fill up. I still saw a similar amount of empties for DL.
I was there last night, front row, orch B.
Yes it was pretty empty when Journey came on, but seemed to fill up by the third song.
Weather was an issue, and the venue is alcohol free.
Poeple were sitting in their cars drinking and waiting for the rain to stop up until the last minute. The rain stopped, thank God, about ten minutes before Journey came on. We were in the VIP tent, and thought about watching the show from there, but the rain stopped so we tried to get to ours seats, before the show started, but it was slow going due to the amount of people starting to pour in to the theater all at once.
Also, got to see soundcheck with about a hundred others.
Steve was there, they did Faith In The Heartland and after that the guys just messed around for a few minutes, playing silly songs and joking around.
